Mike’s jaw nearly unhinged as he unleashed a full-body yawn. The day’s events starting to catch up to him late into the evening.
“Looks like master should head to bed,” suggested Jake, “No need to push yourself. The Chronivac and your dog Jake will still be here in the morning. We’ve got a full weekend to work with.”
Mike shrugged, “I guess you’re right. You coming with me boy?”
“No, sir. I just had a nice nap and want to explore these new capabilities master bestowed on me.” Jake replied.
“Ok.” Mike flatly intoned. Dejected that he would fall asleep alone. “Don’t stay up to late.” He playfully quipped as he trudged off to bed.
Jake paraded around the house sniffing items and associating them with the words and connotations the Chronivac had instilled in his mind. ‘Wow,’ he thought, ‘human reality is so vastly different from a canine one.’ Upon exhausting the totality of the small home, he started to get bored. His more attuned mind desiring a higher degree information input. ‘What to do next,’ he mused, ‘Perhaps try this thing called a TV or open up the Chronivac thingy master mentioned.’
