Jacob looked at his phone camera and realized that his hair was rapidly changing to a white color from its former reddish brown."
"Doesn't this mean I'm gonna turn into some arctic animal or something?" Jacob asks. "The white hair looks cool also."
"Maybe, but not all animals with white fur are Arctic." Pete says. "I'd wait another day to be absolutely sure of what you're becoming."
"What's your major Pete?" Asks Jacob
"Computer Science,and you Jake?"
"Economics, with a history minor."
Later that day they'd get dinner together and was introduced to his friends, the aforementioned Miles the Mountain Lion, as well as Kai the Husky, Jack the Lynx, and Brent the Marten. In line he had to check his teeth if they'd changed. And it appeared they had gotten sharper. "Looks like I can still eat meat," Jacob declared.
'Now he looks like one of those glitzy vampires from that one movie." Kai joked, noting Jacob's platinum white hair and sharpened teeth.
``Nah dude, Team Taylor all the way." Jacob clapped back.
"Alright, maybe if you're a wolf, or in this case an Arctic Wolf, but let's hope the end result for him is not a vampire." The husky snarkily replied.
Pete introduced Jacob to his friends. He'd often call him "Jake" but the latter didn't really care if people called him that. Most of his friends were the same year as he was. Along with that, none of them go back to the other world anymore.
"I don't remember a world outside of this one." Brent remarked. "I've always been a Marten"
"Wait, How?" Jake asked.
"Over time your memories end up being replaced by ones in this world." Jack added. "It all varies on how strong your bonds are in the human world. I know I was human once, but anything from that side has vanished from my memory. On the other hand, I knew a guy who had to go back because his family was struggling financially and he felt bad leaving them behind."
"I don't think he really had a choice. Bradley's family here was very well off compared to the other side. He said he went here to lift his family out of poverty and for them to be replaced by the polar opposite just completely screwed with him. It defeated the whole purpose of coming there for him." Pete spoke.
"Were any of you guys friends with Mr. Bradley?" Inquired Jake.
"He was an acquaintance of mine. I had him in a couple classes, including my Anthro 101." Miles remarked. "It was a pretty big deal when he left. A lot of rumors spread about the poor guy afterwards. Some say he flunked out, others said he got into legal trouble, all he wanted was to help his family."
"It's rare that people ever go back to the Human World and never return," Kai added. "Could understand why there was so much drama surrounding Brad last year."
"Hopefully he was able to get his family out of that financial mess." Jake noted. " Have seen far too many suffer from financial hardship."
"What's life like back in Ohio?" Miles asked. "I hear they have really good roller coasters over there."
"It's mostly just dilapidated factories and overcast, My family would usually take us to Cedar Point once a summer though." Jake described his home life. "My parents are decent people for the most part, I never had the chance to come out to them, and they don't understand me all that much. My siblings are another story, They pray for my downfall 24/7."
"You'll probably have better siblings in this world" Pete affirmed. "I'd imagine you'd feel sorry for Mom and Dad though."
"I do," Jake replied. "They aren't bad people. Just those who don't understand me." added as he munched on some chicken tenders.
“What do people do here for fun?” Jacob asked
“Well it depends on what your into, a lot of people party on weekends, but there’s something in the valley for everyone.” Jack replied.
“Miles, wanna come to my place after?” Pete asks his feline lover.
“Sure. love to see how you and the vampire are getting along.”
When the three got back to their room, Jake wrote down some ideas of what he might be becoming. He had meat for dinner, so definitely a carnivoran of some degree, and he had white hair which slimmed down his possibilities. Now all he had to wait for was his new ears and tail. Meanwhile, Pete and Miles cuddled on the former’s bed, kissing. “Jake, are you okay with us getting naked?” asked Pete.
“Yes” Answered the changing human. They took off their clothes, revealing the big, burly body of the Mountain Lion and the smaller but still athletic-looking body of the coyote as they both cuddled on the bed. Jacob could only feel his dick getting harder watching them, as his body in comparison was rather average. 6 feet, 200 pounds. He felt his hearing go out for a quick moment only for it to return, albeit sharper and clearer than before.
"Guys I got my ears!" Jacob shouted.
"It appears so." Pete affirmed, as he got up from the bed.
" What do they look like?" Asked the changing young man.
