While Greg is still under the shower, Tyler arrives, Greg's mom answers the door, “oh, Tyler,” she says, “you are pretty early.”
Tyler nods, “yeah,” he says, “I didn't want to arrive at the last second, hope that is not a problem.”
Ms. Davis shakes her head, “not at all,” she says and lets the boy in, “Greg is still getting ready, I'll let him know you are here.”
“Okay,” Tyler says, he puts down his bags and waits as Ms. Davis hurries upstairs to tell Greg.
Ms. Davis knocks on the bathroom door, “GREG,” she yells, “TYLER IS HERE!”
“TELL HIM TO WAIT IN THE GARAGE,” Tyler yells back, “HE CAN PUT HIS STUFF INTO THE JEEP! I'LL BE OUT IN 20 MINUTES!”
“OKAY,” his mother calls back. She heads back downstairs, “Tyler,” she says, the boy looks at her, “Greg said to tell you to wait in the garage, you can put your stuff into the Jeep, he'll be ready in 20 minutes.”
“Okay,” Tyler says, “um... where are the key to the Jeep, or is it unlocked?”
Ms. Davis walks to the key board by the front door, she grabs the keys and hands them to Tyler, “here you go,” she says.
“Thanks, Ms. Davis,” Tyler says, taking the keys. The boy then heads to the garage with his luggage, he brought a backpack with some snacks, drinks, clothes and some games, a sleeping bag and a single person tent.
Jeff is still whining and still focused on how much he hates being a car, that he does not realize Tyler walk into the garage, he also does not notice that his radio is on, blaring some heavy metal music.
When Tyler enters the garage, he immediately hears the music coming from the Jeep, “hu? Did Greg forget to turn off the radio,” he asks himself, “I better turn it off, not that the car won't start, that'll suck.” Tyler puts his stuff by the trunk and walks to the driver's side, he opens the door, the music is loud, so the boy can't hear Jeff's whining, the boy turns off the radio.
Jeff notices someone messing with his radio, he assumes it is Greg, since he can't see who it is, unaware that it is Tyler, Jeff turns the radio back on, “GREG,” he yells, “DON'T JUST TURN OFF THE RADIO! IT IS MY VOICE, I AM NOT A CAR WHICH YOU CAN DO WITH HOW YOU PLEASE!”
Tyler is already walking back to put his stuff in the trunk, when he stops in his tracks as the radio turns itself back on, “hu? What the hell,” he exclaims. The boy walks back to the door and again turns the radio off, but a second later the radio turns itself back on, “man, Greg really should have that checked,” the teen mumbles, “looks like to be some kind of system error. I do have a program on my phone which could do a diagnostic and delete any errors... hm... should I just do it? Greg does not have to know. I'll think about it while I load my stuff.” Instead of turning the radio off, Tyler turns the volume down, Jeff is still yelling not noticing that he can't be heard.
Tyler walks back to his stuff, the boy shakes his head, “I better solve the issue now,” he mumbles, “I don't want the battery to die on us, could be dangerous! I could upload my playlist to the music storage, while the program runs a diagnostic, Greg surely won't mind!”
After loading his stuff into the trunk of the “Jeep”, Tyler takes out his phone and USB-cable, he then returns to the driver's side door, “now, where is the slot... aaah! There it is,” he says, he inserts the USB end into the small slit, just below the touch screen of the computer and attaches his phone to the other end of the cable. A message pops up on Tyler's phone screen, “new device detected! Do you wish to sync you phone?” Tyler clicks on “yes”, a message the pops up on the “Jeep's” touch screen, “you are about to sync a new device with the computer. Do you wish to proceed?” Again Tyler confirms the question, after a minute both devices give of a ping sound and a message appears on both screens, “syncing successful!”
Jeff feels when something is inserted into his brain, “WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING NOW, GREG,” he shouts, still not realizing that Tyler had turned down the volume of the radio, “YOU BETTER DO NOTHING FUNNY!”
Unaware that he is about to mess with the mind and brain of a transformed human teenager, Tyler opens the car diagnostic program App and activates it, a message pops up, “do you wish to do a express diagnostic, or do you prefer a thorough diagnostic?” Tyler clicks on the “thorough” button and the process begins, Tyler looks at the percentage bar, “hm... it'll take four hours,” he says, “oh, well, I can upload my playlist. I don't think Greg would mind,” Tyler then opens his playlist folder and starts to upload all of his 20 playlists into the “Jeep”.
Jeff suddenly feels weird, it feels as if hands were rummaging through his brain, while at the same time a strange feeling of his brain being filled with songs he never heard of before and which are not even his type of music. All of this causes Jeff to start to feel weak and dizzy, his mind is swirrling, he can't think straight, a part of him is freaking out, sensing that something is off, but a other part seems to want to tell him to let it happen, that it is for his own good. Jeff does not want to give in, but he must admit that the feeling is kinda soothing and relaxing, 'he... what the... hell...,' he thinks to himself, feeling himself slowly drifting off, 'I could do with a little... rest...,' with that Jeff gives in and his vision slowly slips into darkness.
