Evan doesn't know why but this whole situation, the way it escalated, was making him more and more shy, especially when he had Mark looking at him like that. He had never had feelings of this kind towards Mark, possibly it was the magic of the necklace that was making him feel weird every time he saw him, these thoughts distracted him while they tried to fix the exchange problem and ended up not saying the wish to he properly "I wish that o-our little friends were in the right place". They all thought it was a bit weird for Evan to say it that way, especially after all the times they've already said the word penis, but they didn't think things would turn out THIS way.
They all waited to feel something again in their lower parts but instead they felt like something pushed them forward. "Now what's happening??" says Mark. "I don't know!" says Evan "It was supposed to fix us!". Apparently, not only did the necklace not interpret the expression "little friends" as a synonym for "penis", but it took the expression literally and moved its NOW little friends to the "right place". It also seems that fairies are very affectionate with each other, so much so that the "right place" for a fairy was with her kind. Everyone was pushed by a mysterious force towards each other, Evan was directly pushed towards Mark, even his arms were pushed to hug each other and stay very close. Bill was pushed later and ended up joining the hug involuntarily, getting stuck to the other two, Dan did the same. After pulling them together, the pressure that was pushing them stopped. Skin-to-skin rubbing (and involuntary blows between their lower limbs) made them all very uncomfortable, so as soon as they weren't pushed, they tried to separate themselves enough not to touch each other, but no matter how hard they tried separated, there was something preventing them from getting away from each other's rubbing, the farthest they could go was until they were all holding hands.
"This is fucking weird!!" Bill yelled.
"You're all out of your mind! No one knows how to say something sane, let me fix it" Dan said, his hand clasping Evan's hand that was still holding the necklace."I wish that...
