The Ahn'Ger Stone: Meeting Willow's Fiancee

“Dad! Didn't you hear a word I said!?” giggled Willow. “I'm getting married!".

The dad part of Bill's mind instantly went on the defensive as the thought of his daughter, his precious little girl, getting seduced by some stranger! He never should have let her go to that school out in California, never given in to her pleas! She was just a kid she didn't know any better! And Tammy had encouraged it! When he found out who it was, he'd-

The more rational part of Bill's mind however, the teenage part, was able to keep himself from doing anything more than uttering a shocked "What?" to the daughter he'd just met. Meanwhile Tammy issued a sharp gasp from next to him and with a quick look to his best friend turned happily married wife, it was clear that Tammy had no real idea of how to react to this sudden, huge bit of news either.

Meanwhile, Gloria simply raised a thin eyebrow in surprise, but she was more annoyed than anything else. This had totally NOT been what she had intended with her wish to make Bill and Tom into an old married couple! They were happily married, with a nice house, a daughter who was clearly successful but apparently prone to dropping surprises on her parents. Gloria had wanted the two of them to be miserable! And SHE was not supposed to be this old hag! Gloria had always planned on becoming a model! Now she was in some hideous business suit and looked like a clone of her own mother! But despite the horror of her new body and the annoyance that her wish to make Bill and Tom miserable had failed, there simply wasn't enough anger to re-activate the magical gemstone that Gloria still had in her hand, or grant any of the numerous wishes to be young again, to go home, to make Bill and Tom miserable that she was making in her hand and under her breath. Maybe if she...

But Gloria's scheming was interrupted as Willow spoke again.

"Okay mom, dad, I know this is a lot to take in but I want you to meet them, okay? They've made my life out west so happy, I never would have made it as a storyboard artist or gotten my new show without them!" Willow quickly walked out of the house and down to stone stairs to the sidewalk, where a wall of tall hedges blocked Bill, Tammy, and Gloria's view of the stranger that was coming out from behind them.
