Duncan let Esmerald go. He grabbed his car keys out of her hands, and started walking to his car.
"Wait, Dunc," said Esmeralda sexily. "Your not going to leave me, are you?"
Duncan turned around, and in a low voice, almost a growl, spoke to Esmeralda. "Look, I don't know what you really are, but I know this. Yeah, your sexy. Yeah, no guy can resist you. But if you lead a guy on, agree to fuck, and then ask this sixteen year old guy to marry you, your out of your mind. I don't care how hot you are, I'm not going to stick around the girl who turned me into a wolf. A little advice. Next time you want a guy to marry you, get him to agree to it, before laying out."
Duncan got into his car, and started the engine.
"Have you had a good look at yourself, Dunc," said Esmeralda slyly walking up to the car, and smiling at Duncan. "Look in the store window again."
Curious, and nervous, Duncan did as he was told. He noticed his pointed ears and five o'clock shadow. His sharp white teeth.
"Your not turning me into a wolf again?" he said nervously.
"Nope, but you are a werewolf. For now and all time." said Esmeralda. "Werewolves never look completely human. A gypsy can always tell."
"Change me back," Duncan said, realizing how futile it was.
"Nope, your going to turn into a wolf evey full moon from now on." Esmeralda smiled, and again scratched him behind the ear. "You know your likely to get caught, one of these full moons. Your going to have to hide it all your life. Sure, its better than being a real wolf, but if your with me I can help you live with it. Plus you'll have all the fringe benifits."
Duncan thought she had a point. He also rememebered the fringe benefits he had enjoyed in the motel room. But he had his pride. He was going home.
"Sorry," he said gruffly. "I'm nobody's pet."
"One last thing," said Esmeralda, "Look at your nose." She started muttering under her breath.
Duncan looked at his nose. It was getting larger, bigger, and blacker. His mouth was pulling out under it. His eyes widened in horror.
"Will you do it," said Esmeralda nonchalantly. "Won't you love to be a werewolf?"
"Yes, I'll marry you," Duncan said quickly. "Thank's for making me a damned werewolf.
To Duncan's relief, his nose changed back. Until the next full moon, at any rate.
"Come on," said Esmeralda, getting into Duncan's car. "Faster we get married, faster you and me can go back in bed together."
Duncan shrugged his shoulders, got into the car, and turned his back on his old life.
