Paul received her first mother daughter talk. By the time Mandy had finished her changes were complete and they were twins. Paul had not paid attention in sex education class and was dismayed when Mandy explained that her periods could take 6 days. She would be stuck in this body until probably next Wednesday!
It was only a trickle of blood coming from her vagina, so far at least it wasn’t flowing at all. But that seemed to be all that it took for the medallion not to work. Mandy had retrieved the medallion and tried it on Paul once more. This time she didn’t even feel a tingle. She didn’t even begin to change.
Mandy explained that over the next day that Paul’s flow would increase markedly. She explained how the lining of Paul’s uterus which had built up over the last month in anticipation of Paul becoming pregnant was now breaking down. That was causing the blood flow. Pregnancy, uterus’s and periods were all words Paul had never associated with herself.
Mandy went on to explain about tampons and pads. She suggested that Paul might find a pad more acceptable at the moment but that in about 4 days once the flow began to diminish she would show Paul how to use a tampon. Paul just nodded. She had not wanted to learn about any of this.
Mandy found Paul fresh panties, showed her how to put a pad in, where the supply was kept and how frequently she needed to change them. She then helped Paul put back on the skirt and top she had worn earlier. She also put her own gym clothes on.
They discussed what to do. ‘You will be stuck as “Mandy” for at least 6 days. I will just have to become “Paul” again. I don’t mind. I like being other people’
‘But I can’t be you all the time. I can’t teach ballet’ Paul pointed out
Mandy thought about that for a few moments. ‘I’ll just have to switch between being Paul and Mandy. I will have to switch to being in this body when I have classes then change into Paul when I don’t. I will just have to be careful not to stay in this body so long that my own period starts. It might mean that I am Paul when ever I can but Mandy when I have to work. It’s a pity that each stint will have to be 12 hours’
‘How long have you got before your period starts? I was only in this body for maybe 13 to 14 hours’
‘I think I have longer. Probably an extra 12 hours at least. I used the bra I had been wearing yesterday to change you last night. I would have been wearing that bra since first thing yesterday morning when I had last changed into myself. So that gives me over a day before my period starts. I’ll change back into you as soon as I can’
‘But then you couldn’t change back into yourself until this time tomorrow. What time do you have classes tomorrow?’
‘Fridays it’s 10 and 3.30….. Hmm I see what you mean. If I stay to take that last class before I change, my period would start. If I change tonight then I wouldn’t be able to take the early class. You would have to do it’
‘Oh no! I don’t know how to teach ballet. You will have to get someone else to take tomorrow’s classes for you. Who is that woman who has filled in for you in the past?’
‘Barbara. It’s short notice’
‘It’s either get Barbara or cancel the classes. If you can get Barbara to do tomorrow’s classes then you can become me and stay as me until Saturday morning then can start alternating every 12 hours’
‘I’ll ring Barbara straight away and see if she is available’

Barbara was available which was a big relief.
Mandy left to take her 3pm class.
