Like most kids, Patricia and Nicole wondered what it would be like when they were older. It seemed like all the interesting stuff was something they were 'too young' for. The two sisters quickly agreed they'd want to see what their older selves look like. "How much older should we be?" asked Patricia.
"How old can it make us?" asked Nicole.
"It looks like it can show us what we'd look like in our 90's," said Patricia.
"Ew, why would we want to get that old?" asked Nicole.
"Yeah, there's nothing fun about being so super-old," agreed Patricia.
"I only want to get a little older," said Nicole, "Maybe like your age."
"That's all?" asked Patricia, "We could see our high school selves with this."
"You wouldn't leave me out, would you?" asked Nicole.
"Of course not," said Patricia, "I'll only be two years older."
"Why can't we be the same age?" asked Nicole.
"Because someone has to be the bigger sister," said Patricia.
"I wish someone else was younger than you," grumbled Nicole.
"Say, now there's an idea," said Patricia, "We can see we're like around Mike's age." Their older brother, Mike, was 19 and at college now. Patricia and Nicole thought he was cool, but they had a sense he was a bit more nerdy compared to the other kids his age. He was studying to become a game designer. He made it quite clear to their dad that he had no interest at all in following in his paper-pushing footsteps.
"Would I be in college too?" asked Nicole.
"Sure, 18's old enough to start college," said Patricia.
"Why do I have to be younger than Mike?" asked Nicole.
"Ok, we can make you a little older than Mike," said Patricia.
"What if we were closer to Katie?" asked Nicole. Their older sister, Katie, was 27 and had gone on to be a supermodel. Patricia and Nicole knew their sister was so pretty because their mother was pretty. Of course, Patricia had a better idea of what the boys thought than her sister did. The thought of being as pretty as Katie appealed to them both.
"Or how about if we around David's age or older?" asked Patricia. Their oldest brother, David, was 29 and a big basketball star in the NBA. He was already in college by the time that Patricia was born so the girls hadn't seen a lot of him when they were growing up. But they knew he was super-successful. And he found a nice, pretty lady that he was going to be marrying.
"That's pretty old though," said Nicole, "Do we wanna be that old?"
"Well, it's only a simulation," said Patricia, "You still wanna try it?"
"Sure," said Nicole.
