Dan was knocked out for a good hour after putting on the necklace. When he woke up, all he could remember was what it had told him before he passed out:
You will now become the animal you most desire.
The line continued to ring in his head as he awoke. The bathroom had a very rank smell, like rotten eggs or garlic. Dan noticed his arms and body were covered by soft, thick, fur as black as the necklace he’d put on, as he was still gagging from the intense stench of the bathroom. Small claws and paw pads took form at the bottom of his hands, err paws, the same for his feet. Dan could feel that he had grown a massive, fluffy tail that’d go as tall as the back of his head. The necklace would glow again, the stench suddenly fading, allowing him to breathe again. He’d stand up facing the mirror, realizing that the necklace had made him into an anthro skunk.
"Huh, So that's why it smelled so bad. I have to say though, I look amazing!" The teenager remarked about his new appearance.
He had a short muzzle with a cute pink nose, and two white stripes running parallel to each other that would go from his nose, down his back, and up his sizeable bushy tail. His once stocky body had slimmed down to a skinnier form as if he had lost 30 pounds.
Dan grinned as he admired his new look in the mirror. He’d become the most handsome creature he’d ever seen. Soon after though he’d be left wondering what would happen next. He’d walk over to the window in an attempt to air out the room. Dan decided to take the necklace off for now and save it for another day, but before the skunk had a chance to remove the necklace, he heard the necklace shout:
**WAIT!**
This caught Dan off guard, as he let go of the necklace.
“You can still talk?” the 14-year-old asked
**Yes, Master. Before you think of discarding me, know I am capable of many things.**
"You have more powers than turning me into this handsome stinker and cleaning up after him?”
**I can fulfill any of my Master’s desires, more than just a new body, but a new world fit for one. On another note, I can see you have a desire for Mephitids, I must say it's an interesting choice.**
“You can change the reality around me, so nobody will freak out about me changing?” the former human asked.
**Absolutely Master, I can take care of any threat that may harm you, I can grant you power, bring you to my realm, and even make every other human a Mephitid if you wish.**
“Is that what they call skunks where you are from?”
**Yes. In Dakür, we use different names for animals than what humans would call them.**
“So, is Dakür an alien kingdom of some sort where animal people live?”
**Sort of.** The necklace delved into an explanation of it's home

The people of Dakür are a proud and noble race, known for their courage and wisdom. For a long time, they have been looking for someone to rule, explore new worlds, and people far and wide to join them, which is why I have been sent to Earth in search of someone that would bring their dreams to fruition. whoever finds the necklace, in this case you, has free will to make the earth as they desire, or you may leave this earth and come to Dakür and join a proud people.**
