Robert walked into the room that the vet had put Elisabeth in. it was especially designed for werewolves with both the things they would need in their animal form and their human form.
Elisabeth was already awake and had shifted into her human form when the sun had come up.
"Hey," She called out to him.
"Hey," Robert responded solemnly. "you feeling alright?"
"Yeah, doc says my shoulder is fine and that it won't be long before my ribs heal too. So, who was that guy anyways?"
"His name's Lucius. He's a very dangerous werewolf who's been trying to cause as much destruction he can to the human world as possible. This was only the 3rd time I've met him but he's not someone you would want to fight."
"So why has he come here? I mean this is just a werewolf haven isn't it?"
"It started out that way but over the last few years humans have started to move in around the outskirts because of the new job opportunities being offered. As for Lucius, I don't know why he's here but whatever it is it isn't something that you would want to get mixed up in."
Robert stood in the room for a moment before deciding to sit down in the chair next to the bed. he didn't make eye contact but Elisabeth knew that he was watching her waiting for any sudden movement.
"So, um, when i first transformed last night," Elisabeth started to say and then looked over to Robert who nodded for her to continue. "I kind of nudged against you. Um, what was that about."
"Most people are the most swayed by their wolf instincts and emotions when they first become werewolves. You were just experiencing the instinct for continuing the species. its nothing out of the ordinary and it should ease down after a while."
"OK" Elisabeth said back to him. She wasn't sure she knew exactly what he meant but she did know enough to get the general idea.
She was about to say something when Robert shot his head up. He stayed completely still for a moment only the occasional motion of a nostril could be seen.
Elisabeth was about to ask him what it was when she caught the scent too. it was strong and she recognized it as blood. before she could say anything Robert charged out of the room. He would not let innocent lives be sacrificed because he was too afraid to do anything.
