“I want you to hypnotize me,” the 8-year-old boy says.
Agatha is taken aback, “why would you want that,” she asks, “what if something goes wrong? I don’t want any bad happen to you.”
“If it works,” Jordan says, “you could hypnotize our parents, so that they don’t suspect anything is wrong. If something should go wrong, I have faith and trust in you, that you’ll do anything to fix it.”
Agatha frowns, “I… I dunno, Jordan,” she says, “I feel that I am far to inexperienced to do such a dangerous magic, like hypnosis.”
“Pleeeease,” Jordan says.
Agatha looks at James, who just shrugs, his tail swishing behind him, “just do it,” he says, “Jordan is someone who does not take “no” for an answer. He’ll just keep on begging.”
Agatha sighs, “very well,” she says, “but don’t hold it against me if something goes wrong.”
“I promise,” Jordan says excitedly.
“Well, here it goes,” she says, even though Agatha just got her powers and never used her hypnosis ability before, she somehow knows how to activate it. Jordan gasps, when suddenly Agatha’s eyes start to glow in a beautiful blue colour, “look into my eyes, Jordan,” Agatha says, “concentrate only on my voice.”
Jordan nods and continues to stare into Agatha’s eyes, “so… beautiful,” he says, his voice sounding dreamy.
Agatha smiles, “that’s it, Jordan,” she says, “you love the colour of my eyes. Feel yourself sinking further and further into my eyes. Feel your mind, as all your thoughts seem to just flow out of your head like water.”
Jordan sighs, a dumb smile appearing on his face, “no… think,” he brabbles.
“Yes, that is a good boy,” Agatha says, “no more silly thoughts, just emptiness. You even start to forget your name and what you are.”
“No… name,” Jordan says, dreamily, “mind… empty.”
“Very good,” Agatha says, “tell me, what are you?”
“I… I’m a…,” Jordan says, “I dunno… what am I?”
“I’ll tell you what you are,” Agatha says, “you are a puppy.”
“I’m… a puppy,” Jordan says.
“Correct,” the girl says, “but if you are a puppy, why are you wearing clothes like a human?”
“I… I dunno,” Jordan says.
“Well,” Agatha says, “why don’t you take them off? After all, animals don’t wear clothes, right?”
Jordan nods and starts to take his clothes off, “am animal… no need clothes.”
Agatha grins, “why are you standing on two legs,” she asks, “animals don’t walk on two legs. How do they walk?”
“Th-they walk on… f-four legs,” Jordan says, the now naked boy starting to drool a little.
“Well, then get down on your tiny paws,” Agatha says.
Jordan does as told, “feel… much better…,” he says, “feels good… feels right!”
“Good boy,” Agatha says, “now, we need a name. How about Rex?”
“Me like,” Jordan says, starting to waggle his bum, as if wagging a tail.
“And puppies don’t talk,” Agatha says, “they bark.”
“Ro… Rawk,” Jordan says.
“Bark, boy,” Agatha says.
“RUFF!”
“Again!”
“RUFF!”
“One more time,” Agatha says.
“RUFF! RUFF!”
“Good boy, Rex,” Agatha says, “you will stay like this until I say otherwise,” Agatha’s eyes stop glowing.
Jordan blinks, the naked boy, who is standing on his toes and hands looks around, seeming a little confused. When his eyes land on James, Jordan lets out a happy sounding bark and jumps at his brother, knocking him to the floor and starts to lick his face.
James lets out a surprised gasp, as his brother jumps him, the boy lets out an “oof”, as he lands on the ground. The boy starts to laugh, when Jordan starts licking his face, “Jo… I mean Rex… St-stop it!”
Agatha laughs, “aaaaw…. So cute,” she says.
James manages to push Jordan off of him, the hypnotized boy wagging his butt violently, barking at his brother. James grins, and strokes his brother’s head, “he sure is cute like this,” he says, grinning, “I got to film this,” he grabs his phone and starts to record his brother.
“Let’s see if he can do tricks,” Agatha says, “Rex, beg!”
Jordan/Rex looks up at Agatha and suddenly he pushes himself up into a crouching position, his arms and hands in front of his chest, and starts to pant.
James and Agatha laugh, “haha… good boy, Rex,” James says, “now, sit!”
Jordan again obeys, he lets himself fall back to his hands and places his butt on the ground, his hands between his legs.
“Good boy,” James says, patting his brother’s head.
Agatha and James continue to have fun with the “puppy”, until Agatha says, “I better get him out of it,” she says, “Rex, I’ll start to count down from 5, with every step you will start becoming your normal self again.”
Jordan/Rex looks up at Agatha, his head tilted, “Ruff?”
“Five… your memories and thoughts start to return, four… you are 8-year-old Jordan Johnson…, three… you are a human boy…, two… you walk on two legs, talk and wear clothes…, one… welcome back Jordan!”
Jordan suddenly blinks, “w-woah…,” he says, “th-that felt weird… did it work?”
James and Agatha nod, “it sure did,” Agatha says.
“Have a look at this,” James says, he hands Jordan the phone.
Jordan’s eyes widen, then he bursts out laughing, “haha… I don’t remember anything. So cool!”
“It has been fun,” Agatha says, “I am relieved that nothing went wrong. Now I am okay with hypnotizing your parents, making them think that James always had a tail or at least make them not to notice it.”
Both boys grin, “hehe… this is the best evening ever,” they say.
Agatha smiles, “Jordan,” she then says.
“Yes,” the boy asks.
Agatha grins, “don’t you want to put some clothes on?”
“Hu,” Jordan asks, he looks down at himself, his eyes widen and he blushes, “um… r-right!”
