You feel a bit miffed towards Mike but you decide to go around the store, especially as some sections look very intriguing and toy want to check those out, if only to satisfy your curiosity. Oh, you know full well that this store is for those feet fetishists that focus on one weird detail, here feet, but you still want to check it out. Curiosity can be a good thing, sometimes, right?
And some sections look really out of place here. And yet they exist. One side is called "Babies, Children and Young Adults" and true to its name, it contains booties for infants, even newborns, as well as all sorts of shoes and sizes going from people that could be from straight out of the womb and up to eighteen. Supposedly, but there are types of socks and shoes for all ages of youth and both boys and girls. They're too small for you, naturally, apart from the late teens' shoes, and the younger the most predominant cartoon and childish characters. Although this section is quite normal if someone just wants shoes for his or her kid or nephew or niece. Another section is, for its part, a lot more incongruous here.
It's name is "Mythological" and it is pretty amazing. There are furry pants that are designated as satyr's or centaurs, or shoes that resemble horse hooves or cloven hooves. Some slippers or socks have the same shapes and look frankly a lot more comfortable. Other socks are sup[posed to mimic mermaid tails. Other shoes have designs of angels, demons, unicorns, fauns, sandals for nymphs, with dragons, elves, fairies and all sorts of imaginary creatures.
All those are right next to the "Animal" section with its socks, shoes and slippers that cater to those liking some footwear referring and mimicking dogs, cats, lions, birds, farm animals, roosters, horses and even dinosaurs or mammoths. And some socks and slippers really do look very tempting and comfy and fuzzy. Some shoes are pretty but rather too original for you more classic tastes.
All in all, there is more than you thought initially and you do want to purchase a few nice items. They look funny enough for the comfort of a home's privacy. But which one to pick out first? You scratch your head, pondering about what could be your final decision. Actually, you have a pretty good idea...
