Dawn bit her lip as she looked through the aisles. Then something caught her eye. Amongst the tubes and bottles of ointment was a small vial, like a perfume bottle. It was filled with a clear, pale green liquid that sloshed as she tipped it one way and another. Decisively, she grabbed it and went to talk to the old man.
"Would you be able to tell me what transformations any of these do?" Dawn asked as she strode up to the counter. The shopkeeper cocked an eyebrow.
"Ah, so you know of their magic, do you?"
Dawn winked. "Of course! How do you think I got these puppies?" she replied and ran her hands over her E-cup breasts. "Anyway, can you tell me what this one does?"
At the sight of the pale green perfume, the shopkeeper paled. "Where did you find that?"
"Oh, it was over on the markdown shelf. Why, what does it do?"
"That is pure Essence of Power, young lady," he muttered, his eyes darkening. "It is magic and raw strength combined and distilled, destined to bestow greatness upon its user. One spray can turn mortals into gods! I have seen it used for great and terrible things."
Dawn rolled her eyes. "Okay, but how much is it?"
His lips puckered and tightened as he stared daggers at the naive young girl. "You can take it, but know the price for misusing it is too much for you to ever pay in a lifetime."
"It's a freebie? Sweet!" Dawn pocketed the vial of perfume and strode out of the door, completely ignorant of the power held within the tiny bottle.
The shopkeeper watched her leave. With a sigh, he began to pack up his shop. Now seemed like a good time to switch to another reality.
