“Can you see them?” Sam asked over the phone.
“I’m looking… there they are!” Lisa shouted.
Colin walked down the boardwalk with Shara clinging to his arm as a woman silently snuck though the crowd behind them.
“Don’t let them out of your sight, we’re on our way!” Sam said as she hung up her phone and shoved her way through the droves of people.
Alya stumbled into a barrel of saltwater taffy as Colin and Shara walked by completely oblivious.
“There’s no time to get candy, come on!” Lisa said as she dragged her friend down the boardwalk.
The mysterious stalker rounded a corner and headed down an alley.
“Lisa!” Wendy yelled.
“She went that way!” Lisa shouted as she ran after her boyfriend and bestie.
Sam and Wendy ran down the alleyway ready to beat the stalker to the ground, but when they got ready to round another corner, they reached a dead end.
“Where the hell did she go?” Wendy asked.
Lisa huffed and puffed as she saw Colin finally sto to get Shara some flowers.
“There they are!” She yelled.
“On it!” Alya interjected.
All of a sudden there was a huge painted tarp being pulled out in front of them.
“What the hell is this?” Alya asked.
“An art piece to raise awareness about pollution, a hundred feet of it!” a teenager shouted as a huge painting of ocean life scrolled in front of them.
Alya managed to crawl under it right as Colin and Shara passed through a gate.
“Damn it!” She spat under her breath as she started running.
“Damn it!” Wendy huffed as she ran along the boardwalk with her head craned upwards, “How is no one seeing this?”
“Shut up and keep your eyes on her!” Sam shouted as she watched the stalker run across the rooftops of nearby stands.
They ran through a gate and spotted Alya running across a bunch of carnival games.
She got splattered in water, pelted by baseballs, and nearly stabbed full of darts in the space of three booths!
“How did Alya even get back there?” Wendy asked.
“Who cares, there they are!” Sam replied as she pointed to Colin handing Shara a stuffed seahorse.
“This day’s been so fun, so nice, so sweet, so- Sam?” Shara asked as the blonde Amazon ran up to them.
“Did you see where she went?” Sam asked.
“I can’t even see two inches in front of my face!” Alya said as she pulled away a pie tin full of shaving cream.
“Where who went?” Shara asked, “Wait a minute, have you guys been following us all day?!”
“Someone was following you guys!” Wendy said.
“Oh really? Besides you?” Shara asked with folded arms.
Colin immediately got between them “Okay, let’s all calm down and-“
The ladies watched as their lover was suddenly yanked right off the spot in a blur of velvety blue.
