The next dilemma was who got what. Both of the women preferred to be Melania over Hilary. Both of the guys preferred to be Bill over Donald. In the end they tossed. Bobbi won and chose Melania, as her partner James now had to be Donald. Jessica and Andrew would be Hilary and Bill.
They took their masks home and arranged to meet up before the party and turn up together. The party was in two day’s time. They each spent that choosing the rest of their outfits. All making do with what they already had in their cupboard, though Bobbi had to borrow an oversized black overcoat from her father for james and Jessica borrowed a beige pants suit from her mother.
It was interesting that not one of them was tempted to put on their mask before the party. If any of them had perhaps things would not have proceeded as they did.
The party was only a short walk from Bobbi’s unit, so they arranged to meet up there, get into costume and walk to the party together.
It was surprisingly easy to put the masks on and they were also surprisingly comfortable. They each had feared they would feel sweaty wearing a latex mask but once on it felt like it was your own skin. The seal of the mask was hidden at the back of your head behind the fake hair. It included a neck piece which somehow altered your voice. With his mask on James actually sounded like Donald Trump. Bobbi even appeared to have Melania’s accent.
Bobbi wore the red dress she had worn to a college ball, it was the closest she had to high fashion.
With her mask on Jessica became Hilary. Her mother’s pants suit was a good choice. The latex face was very realistic. She even had Hilary’s wrinkles. She did look like a 69 year old woman. Likewise James and Andrew now looked like the 70 year old politicians they were pretending to be. Bobbi was very happy to be the much younger Melania. She had done her homework. In 2016 Melania was actually 46 but she looked younger. Bobbi was happy to be a MILF.
The girls touched up their make-up then arm in arm the presidential candidates and their partners walked to the party. Their costumes were a great success. No-one guessed who they were until told. Bobbi certainly felt her $5 share of the masks cost was well spent. They stayed until the party ended in the wee hours then walked back to Bobbi’s apartment. She invited her friends in for a nightcap.
