Or rather he would have, except his mother saw how fast he was regressing and realized he could easily be a baby by the time she picked him up. A 12 year old is not that hard to pass for 14, but someone would surely notice the difference between an 8 year old and a baby.
Johnny got up that morning and his mother changed his diaper, and then got ready for school. His mother stopped him, though.
"I'm ready for school!", Johnny yelled.
"Honey, you don't go to school."
"Of course I do. I'm in 6th grade", Johnny said, obviously confused
"No you don't. Sixth grade is for 12 year olds, not 8 year olds who still need diapers. You don't even go to school yet because of your problem, remember? Are you glad you don't have to go to school?"
Somehow, Johnny seemed to remember this was true, although he was still a bit confused. He felt so sure he was in 6th grade just a moment ago.
"Yeah, you're right. School is no fun. Sure glad I don't have to go, and can watch TV and play games all day."
He settled in to play some video games. This game had been easy for him just yesterday. Now he kept dying, and it seemed nearly impossible. He didn't think much about it, though. Last night's dinner soon went through his young body, and without even realizing it he became a messy 7 year old.
A short while later, his breakfast milk went through him. Traces of baby fat appeared on his now smaller body, leaving him a chubby 6 year old. His mother walked in and saw this, and knew it would be a long day.
