Lunch was a success. “Melania” was instantly recognised and the two were ushered to a prime table. The manager asked if she could take a photo and “Melania” agreed. Other patrons in the café also asked if they could get their picture taken with “Melania” she graciously said they could. Bobbi doubted that the real Melania would ever visit so didn’t correct the assumption that she was the former first lady.
James ended up being quite comfortable in his “Bobbi” guise. Only his hands showed and he had quite fine fingers. Someone who knew Bobbi well might have questioned why her nails were not polished but other than that he knew his disguise was flawless. Having Bobbi’s voice was the cream on the cake. They made up a story about Bobbi being used as a fashion consultant by “Melania”. It would do Bobbi’s profile no harm at all.
After an hour the constant nagging for photos was getting a bit tiresome. “Melania’s” presence was actually attracting a crowd. The real Bobbi started to feel a bit uncomfortable.
The proprietress suggested they leave via the rear entrance and that suited Bobbi well. They were able to slip out and head upstairs to their unit without being seen.
