“You are too young to legally consent to the reversal, so you’ll need an adult representative to do so for you.”
Leah couldn’t believe what she was reading! She was an adult! Despite the damp padding currently cushioning her butt. She hurriedly typed back that she was still an adult. The representative didn’t agree, telling her that it didn’t matter what her initial age was. Leah was now a toddler and thus unable to consent to things on her own. Just as Leah was trying to avoid panicking further, the presentative typed something new.
“This company operates by word of mouth only. We recommend you reach out to the person who suggested our products to you for assistance.” Perfect! That was Gina. Once Leah got ahold of Gina, she could get this entire mess sorted out. She thanked the representative for the help, then grabbed her phone.
At first, Leah was tempted to call Gina. But she ultimately decided to text her instead. She wasn’t sure how well she could talk at this age, after all. Leah sent a text explaining everything. After an agonizing ten minutes, Gina texted back, apologizing for not warning Leah in advance.
“It’s okay,” Leah texted. “I’ll forgive you as long as you help me get out of this mess!” Gina agreed, saying she would be right over. Leah texted a thumbs up emoji and resolved to wait for her friend’s arrival.
