The Ahn'Ger Stone: Defector From Decadence

Unlike Bill, Eugene knew for sure that his personality was gradually slipping away from him, although he was making a game try at resisting it. As long as he occasionally got off of his disembodied minds eye comfy chair and made a token attempt at doing something contrary to Eve's decisions, all he had to do was sit back and watch the show. And what a show it was.

After cheerleading practice had ended, Eugene's new body went into a kind of autopilot, walking to the locker room, cleaning herself off, changing her clothing, packing her cheer uniform back into her pink duffel bag, all the while gossiping with her girlfriends as she did it.

Some of the mean girl cheerleaders at one point had begun making fun of that weird Willow girl who had stopped by to audition for a spot on the team, and to Eugene's complete surprise, Eve was having none of that noise. She scolded them all for their elitism and bitchiness, and informed them in no uncertain terms that girls like Willow were just as welcome on the team as anyone else.

The mean girls, dressed down by one of the two alphas of the squad, someone who everyone in the entire school respected, reluctantly backed down. One of them however, the dark haired girl named Gloria, couldn't help but shoot Eve a dirty look on the way out the door.

Eugene had been shocked. He had spent nearly his entire life as a kicked puppy, and had never once until tonight found someone in a position of authority who wasn't an asshole. Eve was just as pure of heart as her reputation suggested, and that caused the icy wall of cynicism surrounding Eugene's heart to melt just a little bit.

As Eve walked to the parking lot, she knew exactly where her car was parked. Eugene just followed along for the ride, a spectator in his own body, as she put the keys into the ignition of the cute pink and white convertible and drove off, her friend and next door neighbor Emily McLeod following Eve inside of her own cute mid-sized car.

Somewhere along the way, Eugene regained control of his body, and had to depend on his rather spotty thirty year old memories of the last time he had enough money to afford driving a car. Mostly, he just followed the pretty brunette girl's lead, and there were few hiccups.

Once home on the rich side of Shermer with all the stunning old fashioned homes and gaudy mcmansions, the two friends hugged each other and promised to hang out more after the big game at Highland Meadows tomorrow.

Eugene strolled past the Kazinski's gorgeous front lawn, all decked out with elaborate Halloween decorations(Even while being trapped in this bizarre new life, the one thing that Eugene couldn't get used to was the six month regression in time) that the hundreds of trick or treaters would run past this year on the way to their candy fix, and walked inside a home nicer than one Eugene had ever stepped foot inside before.

Eve's parents, Howard and Karen, welcomed their very accomplished daughter back home with a warm embrace, and the three disgustingly good looking people had a
somewhat hurried dinner before they all ran off in separate directions to go work on their own projects.

Eugene wasn't sure whether this was just the resentment over how little he had in comparison to these people talking, but a part of his psyche told him that the Kazinski's felt more like coworkers than a loving family.

Once upstairs in her bedroom, Eugene took one look at the load of course work that Eve had to finish for her advanced placement classes this week.

"Nope" he said dismissively and dropped the girl's backpack in one of the four corners of her bedroom.

A bedroom by the way that was bigger than his living room and kitchenette put together. Eugene made an incoherent angry noise that in Eve's pleasant voice just sounded cute.

Ignoring the text messages that Emily was sending him, Eugene laid upon Eve's queen canopy bed and spent the next many hours attempting to search for that Willow kid over the internet. Being an old man, it had taken him an embarrassingly long time to even figure out how to unlock Eve's phone. Eventually, he got the hang of it.

As he later told Willow, searching through Facebook for her profile was a process of trial and error. He sent messages to dozens of perspective candidates, most of whom hadn't responded back, with one Willow writing back:

Stay out of my PMs, you ginger bitch, I don't know you!.

Thankfully, Eugene was used to being degraded like that, and it slid right off Eve's curvy backside.

Once he finally did get in contact with the Willow that he was looking for, he was pleased to know that she was receptive to a meet up tonight. This whole ordeal finally might be ending!

Eugene couldn't wait to get back to his own life, but before he did, he really wanted to know what Willow had wished for when she owned the Ahn'Ger Stone as a guy. Willow had been about to tell Eugene before the two got interrupted by that frightening blonde amazon Joanna.

With much less sneaking around than Bill had to do, Eugene stalked off into the night to finally undo her twisted wish.
