“How long after you drink does the effect happen?” asked Sharni, whilst looking into Kyle’s eyes.
“It was pretty quick. I passed out then I woke in this body” Kyle gestured at his female body.
‘Well nothing is happening” observed Sharni unnecessarily.
The two continued to look into each other’s eyes. After several minutes. Kyle was still in Sharni’s body. He didn’t feel any different. “I don’t think it’s working” he observed.
“Fuck!” said Sharni. She finally looked away “Looks like you’re going on my date”
“Hold on! I’m not going on your date!”
“Dinner and tickets to the Rockets game? I would have thought that right up your alley”
“Rockets game?”
“That’s what Garth said. He so desperately wants me to get into basketball that he has paid for row 2 seats” Sharni knew Kyle was a big Rockets fan.
“Row 2?”
“That’s what Garth said……. Think about it” Meanwhile Sharni was finally looking at the bottle she had just downed the contents from. “Oh Dear! I should have read the instructions. This label is different…..”
“What do you mean?”
“It has another warning. I’m sure it wasn’t on the first bottle. Look for yourself” Sharni proffered the empty bottle to Kyle.
Kyle took the bottle and glanced at the label. "This potion will allow you to swap bodies with the first person you make eye contact with after imbibing. Duration of the swap is dose dependant and depends on body size" That was the same as was on the first bottle as were the dosage instructions. Kyle continued "5 ml per 100 kg of combined body weight will cause a swap of approximately 24 hours. Higher doses will prolong the swap. 10 ml per 100 kg will last for 48 hours etc” But the next line was different. “Additional doses while swapped will extend the duration of the swap” Kyle read this line out loud. “Does that mean what I think it means?” he asked in Sharni’s feminine voice.
“I’m sure that line wasn’t on the original bottle” Sharni was defensive. “How was I to know?”
“I was cautioned to read the instructions. I told you”
‘Okay I stuffed up. But so did you”
“I think you just doubled the duration of our swap. It looks like you might be me for the next three weeks” Kyle observed
