A monster, thinking about it now you haven’t really considered the option to become a monster from the start, you wonder what it will be like.
Selecting the option, you are then transported into a room with a mirror. Looking through the mirror you see your avatar, a strangely accurate reflection of yourself. It must have scanned you when you were putting it on.
“That’s startling…” You thought.
As you put your hand on the mirror, its surface ripples before you are met with many, MANY, types of monsters. Scrolling down the list you are shocked at how many types of monsters there are, from average mobs that you encounter to even monsters that should be suited for more of a boss role then a player character.
“Woah…” You thought to yourself, “ And Sam was complaining about character customization.”
There were so many options to choose from, and if it was a one time deal, you don’t wanna pick a monster you don’t like.
“Hmm…” You were in deep thought as you scrolled, res-crolled, and scrolled the list again and again. “It’s gotta be a strong monster… a Minotaur? Nah, Dragon? Mmm…, Hydra? I wonder how they incorporated all the heads and stuff?”
You were scratching your head during all of this, “So many options…”
With a sigh, you decided to just let fate decide on what monster to be. Clicking the random button, you see the various selections cycle around until it stops on beastman.
You soon see your avatar start to melt away, removing any characteristics of you until it is a featureless blob, only in the shape now does it mirror you. Then a new list of options appears before you, each being an animal you know, you guess that this is choosing what type of beastman your avatar is. This time however, you chose your favorite animal, a lion.
You were young when you first read about lions, how majestic they looked on the page, as well as the title of king they held that fascinated you. You remember when you saw an actual one, it excited you as you came closer before being scared off by its roar. Heck, Sam even gave you a plushie for your birthday one time since you wouldn’t stop talking about it in middle school.
Now you are ready to confirm your selection and finally get into the game. Just then, a text box suddenly popped up.
