Regina's current universe: /interactives/chapter_63532.html
Regina bopped along to the pop song playing on her phone as she unlocked the front door and stepped inside.
"Guys, I'm home!" she yelled out, in one graceful motion stuffing the ring of keys into her purse, slipping off her headphones, and locking the door behind her.
Silence.
OK, so either her roommates were ignoring her, didn't hear her, or Regina had the place to herself for a few hours.
Regina, naturally, already knew that it was the latter option. She walked inside the living room with a smile and saw that it was devoid of all human life.
But not all life.
"Hey sweetie!" she beamed, ticking Sheena behind her ears.
"Hello, Regina" Sheena replied.
"Did you have a good day?"
Sheena nodded.
Regina peered into the kitchen, looking at the doggy door that Sheena used to fly in and out of the house.
Regina's roommates were unaware of the spell she had placed around the doggy door so only the tiny golden dragon could come and go out of it.
They were also unaware of the dweomer placed around Sheena herself.
All Regina's roomies knew was that she had a pet named Sheena, that Sheena was totally adorable, but they could never quite remember what kind of pet she was, or that Sheena could talk, or that any of it mattered.
Regina resisted the urge to dance around the house Risky Business style, instead preferring to chill out on the couch and play video games for a while.
**
One by one, Regina's roommates came home.
The first was Sunny.
Sunny was just like her name, bright and cheerful and nurturing, a sweethearted blonde offering warmth to all in her sphere of influence.
People also liked her big tits.
She embraced Regina in a hug and made them some cocktails in the kitchen.
The next to come home was Rain Blackfeather.
Rain, as one might assume, was Sunny's direct opposite.
She was a classic goth girl, with perfectly pale skin, dark hair and clothing, and a personality to match, obsessed with the darker parts of life.
Sunny and Rain were sisters. Their real names were Allison Nicole Stewart and Jennifer Marie Stewart, but everyone called them Sunny and Rain, so that's what they called themselves.
To Regina, the resident lesbian, it helped that Sunny and Rain were both thicc as fuck.
Though she wouldn't admit to it, Regina was confident that Wednesday Addams was bisexual. Regina had been making eye contact and subtle flirtations with Rain ever since she had moved in, which Rain had unconsciously reciprocated.
Regina also knew Rain's other secret.
Regina's other two roommates arrived home later that night. They were another pair of sisters, twin party girls named Danielle and Misty Wallace.
Like the twins that they were, Danielle and Misty shared many of the same tastes. They often dressed the same, usually wore the same types of shoes, enjoyed the same kinds of booze, had the same taste in books and music, and went after the same men.
The fact that they were both extremely beautiful and brilliant and vivacious made their pursuit of leisure and fun all the more easy.
The world was, in effect, the Wallace twinsies oyster.
The four besties joined Regina on the couch, sharing a pizza and a pitcher of beer and watching trashy movies together.
They all loved each other the way siblings do, their mutual affection shining through endless bickering and petty rivalries.
What the two sets of sisters didn't know, except for Rain and Regina, is that a very short time ago, they hadn't been sisters at all. Or even women.
Sunny had, once upon a time, been Rain's very male roommate, Jay. Jay had been chauvinistic prick whose personality was as sour as Sunny's was sweet.
Danielle had, in the previous iteration of reality, been Rain's roommate Dan. Dan hadn't been as bad as Jay, but he was nothing to write home about either.
Misty had been a drunken friend of Dan's who suffered the fortune/misfortune (Depending on how one looks at being transformed into a slutty ginger genius supermodel) of electing to crash at Dan's apartment that night after a bar crawl. Rain had never even learned the poor dude's name.
She didn't need to. Misty was so much cooler than whoever he had once been.
Rain herself had formerly been a man named Sean Davidson.
A rather self loathing man, who hated his roommates even more, and had never been happier as Rain Blackfeather.
Regina, being an ex Sorceress Supreme, and current wandering nomad Queen of the Multiverse, knew all about Sean's dalliance with the Chronivac.
She knew all about Sean/Rain's life from studying the multiverse, and had become somewhat fixated on it, the way non magic people fixate on celebrities and TikTok stars.
Five sexy college girls, living alone.
The chance for Regina to relive her youth, and sew wild oats she hadn't gotten a chance to sew the first time.
What could be a better universe to insert oneself into?
Especially after the wild shit she's been through these past few months.
