"We're not interrupting something, are we?" Michelle's voice said, causing Rachel to jump as she looked up to see her sisters in the doorway looking at them.
"Don't mind us, we're just getting something to drink," Jasmine said, trying to sound innocent. Rachel rolled her eyes as Michelle elbowed her twin sister before chuckling a bit. "We're just going."
"You two might as well come in," Rachel sighed and shook her head a bit. "You've probably seen everything at this point."
"Maybe," Jasmine said as she and Michelle walked in and took a seat. "So, did you have a good time at the meeting?"
"Yeah, I did," Rachel said, her tail curling around her waist a bit as she thought about it. "It was nice, but I'm still figuring a few things out, you know? It certainly gave me a lot to think about."
"Well, I'm glad that you're doing better," Michelle said as she looked over at Cynthia and grinned a bit. "You're the girl Rachel met at orientation, right? Cynthia?"
"Oh yeah the one who invited her to the D&D game," Jasmine said. "Rachel couldn't stop gushing about that."
"Yeah, that's me," Cynthia said a bit sheepishly as she looked at Rachel. "I didn't realize the game meant that much to you."
"Yeah... well... it was nice to make a friend... and a game... so quickly..." Rachel said, trying not to make eye contact with the redhead. "It really meant a lot."
"Well, I'm glad," Cynthia said.
"Mom, can we go talk about something in the kitchen?" Jasmine asked, exchanging a look with Michelle.
"Yes, something very important!" Michelle said quickly.
"Sure, let's go," Charlene said, looking at her younger daughters. The three of them got up and headed into the other room.
"They just set us up to have a moment alone, didn't they?" Rachel asked.
"Probably," Charlene said as she gave Rachel a soft smile. "What do you want to do with it?"
