“Alright little one, which-”
“Right door,” The kobold said quickly before diving back to the cock.
Finn cocked a brow. “Very well.”
He stroked his kobold’s growing tail with a smile.

Charlie and the party walked to the right door and quickly realized that they weren’t getting through this one.
The stone slabs sagged against each other, a pile of rubble at their base. If the pool of water beneath it was any indication, somehow the water had gotten into the tight stonework and, over the centuries, weakened it to the point of a cave-in.
However, the wolf noticed that the pool of water wasn’t growing any larger.
That must mean it was draining somewhere beneath the stones. Was there another chamber below? Charlie didn’t know the layout of the dungeon yet, so he wasn’t certain, but the flow of water certainly indicated the presence of a lower level.
“Fuck! It’d take my men three days to properly clear it.” Oswin said, standing next to the wolf and surveying the damage. “Best stay away from the floor. See the tiles there? They’re buckling. It could collapse any minute.”
“Got any clues as to what’s down there?” Charlie asked.
“Could be another room, could be a cave.” Oswin shrugged. “You never know with these kinds of things. Though you’d think there was a drain system set up just in case something like this happened.”
“Well, they weren’t planning on living down here, just walling up a threat.” Charlie replied.
“Yeah, but Veles said these walls were magical. If they collapsed, that magic would be destroyed, and the enemy would be able to escape.”
“Escape a total cave-in?” Charlie asked.
“We don’t know what that pitbull can do. He’s a wizard. Hell, Veles guessed if this place collapsed, he could teleport out.” Oswin shrugged. “The miners damaged the seal on the tomb and woke the pitbull up. That floor doesn’t look stable. We may be on limited time already.”
Charlie nodded. “Let’s try the other door.”
