THE TF TEAM

added by Ebak 17 years ago O

The day of Elliot Baker started off like every other: get up, get dressed, have breakfast and go to school. That was the normal routine, except, this day wasn’t normal. As he stopped outside a house he yelled at the open window.
“Hey, Alex!” He shouted. “Get up!” Alex lay resting, like a body in a coffin, as stiff as a board, his blonde hair twitching ever so slightly, when he heard these words, his body jerked up and awake.
‘Oh god, I slept late again?` his mind repeated as he dressed, nearly falling over in the process.

A few minutes later he emerged from his door toast in his mouth. The two continued on there trek to the school, chatting along the way. As soon as they arrived at the school they found Jessica and Chris waiting for them.
“Elliot!” Jessie shouted as she ran over and embraced him for a few seconds.

Jessica was a few months younger than Elliot, brown shoulder length hair and a very cute and pretty face. Chris was Jessica’s big brother, tall, skinny, with brown greasy hair and a computer expert that earn him the nickname Chip. Elliot was a little taller than Jessica, had a gingery-brown hair, his face wasn’t handsome, but it wasn’t ugly, he was well built for his age and very mature and intelligent.

The bell finally forced the hour long embrace apart. Their class was visiting a science lab to see a Biolecular Decomposer in action for the first time. Both Jessie and Alex were scheduled to be on one coach and Elliot and Chip on the other.

All the way through the road trip Elliot and Chip said nothing to one another. Chris didn’t like Elliot, being Jessie’s big brother he was very protective of her, Elliot Despised Chris because he failed to understand that himself and Jessie loved one another and how could someone come between lovers?

“The Biolecular Decomposer is a way for doctors to pull apart biological material and re-assemble it somewhere else and more easily.” The scientists gave the class a demonstration before dropping a bombshell that it would change history. “It doubles as a transporter, could I have some volunteers?” Instantly Elliot and his group shot their arms up and were chosen.

As if fate was conspiring and knew what going to happen, the unthinkable occurred. As soon as the group had dematerialized a powerful lightning strike hit the lab, causing all the equipment to malfunction and a rift emerged sending the four tumbling into a new and unknown dimension.

They fell. Twisting, turning and tumbling in all directions as if caught in some twister. Colours flashed into their eyes until darkness overcame their vision.

A bright flash of gold shone in Jessie’s eyes as she twisted, releasing her from her slumbering prison. She looked around. She found a wide landscape offering a range of mountains, tall with a sandy brown colour, matching the desert beyond, it reminded her a lot of Monument Valley in America, a place she used to go to a lot when she lived in America.
