Rod said, "Hey Rick, I wanted to talk to you about something. Have you heard what happened to Chad?"
Rick said, "No, I haven't."
Rod said, "His father kicked him out of the house."
Rick said, "That's terrible. Kids shouldn't be kicked out of the house for any reason. Is Chad on the streets?"
Rod said, "No, he turned himself into a jockstrap so he could stay with me."
Rick asked, "Really? He turned himself into a jockstrap? Can I see?"
Rod held up the bag that contained Chad, "He's still wet but I don't want to put him in the dryer. That would be cruel. I'd like to turn him human again so he could dry off with a towel. Then he could go to classes and I could talk with him."
Rick asked, "Don't you like wearing him?"
Rod said, "I like wearing him but only if he wants to be worn. I want him to want me."
Rick asked, "How do you know it was me? It could have just as easily been Bruno or Danny."
Rod said, "Well I'm not certain that it was you but you haven't been that good at hiding it. I'm fairly sure that all of the team and all of Chad's family knows it was you."
Rick trembled and was speechless.
Rod said, "Don't be afraid. All you did was just harmless pranks and nearly everyone agrees that Chad deserved it. I think that if you give Chad the ability to make himself human again, all will be forgiven."
Rick thought about this. Even though he could whip up enough potions and amulets to take out a few threats, if a whole mob came after him, he could be killed or worse. His dad always told him to be careful and make sure no one knew about the family secrets. Now Rick had to turn Chad human to avoid a witch hunt."
Rick said, "Alright but on one condition. I haven't had a chance to wear him yet. Besides, I don't have the ingredients I need to change him here. It will have to wait until I get home. So let me have a turn at wearing him and I promise you he will be human again when you next see him."
Rod thought about this. Was it fair to Chad to let Rick wear him? Then again, this might be a humbling experience for Chad and make him less arrogant.
Rod said, "Alright but don't run him through the dryer. Let him dry off as a human and then you can wear him."
Rick said, "Fine, fine." and Rod gave him the bag containing the wet mess that was Chad. Rick also asked for the string and Rod gave it to him.
Chad didn't like spending the rest of the day in a plastic bag. He didn't know if he wanted to experience going through a dryer but he decided it was better to risk the dryer than to spend all day wet and miserable.
But Rod did take Chad home and kept his promise. He turned Chad human and tossed Chad a towel.
Rick said, "From what I understand, you turned yourself into a jockstrap, right?"
Chad said, "Yes, but I don't want to be a jockstrap permanently."
Rick said, "Well I haven't had my turn yet so you are going to turn yourself into a jockstrap and then I will teach you how to change yourself at will."
Chad thought about this. He didn't want to be a jockstrap again but he'd rather be a jockstrap than be homeless on the streets.
Chad said, "Alright." He took the string and tied it around his genitals again.
He turned into a jockstrap again and disappeared again. He would reappear as a jockstrap in front of his locker at school again but Rick didn't know this.
Rick said, "Oh fuck, I forgot that I still don't know where Bruno spilled the attractant."
