After supper, Jeff is told by his mother to help clean the kitchen, Jeff turns to Jared and says, “Jared, meet me in my room. I’ll be up in a few”.
“Okay, Jeff,” Jared says, so he heads up to Jeff’s room. When Jared enters, he notices Jeff’s Laptop is on and a weird program is running. “Hu? Did Jeff get himself a new game,” the 12 year-old asks himself, but when he examines the “game” closer, his eyes widen and a mischievous grin appears on his face. “So, Jeff transformed himself into a block of clay,” Jared says to himself, “weird, of all the other things he could have chosen from, like becoming a puppy, he chose something non-living”. Jared shakes his head and chuckles, “Jeff never was the smartest,” he says with a grin, Jared’s grin widens as an idea pops into his brain, “I’ll copy the Chronivac onto my phone,” he says, “from what I have read, though it is a copy of the PC Version, it is actually it’s own Chronivac. This means that, if I alter Jeff with the App, the change will not appear in Jeff’s file on the PC Version. Hmm… hehe… I think I know what to do,” the boy grins, “Jeff, you don’t know it yet, but YOU will be “helping” me with my art project: You will become IT!”
Jared takes out his phone and hooks it up to Jeff’s computer, he is faced with three options: 1. Copy the Chronivac onto his phone, 2. Transfer the Chronivac to his phone and delete it from Jeff’s Laptop or 3. transfer the Chronivac to his phone and have the Version on Jeff’s Laptop become the copy, while he, Jared, will have the original. Jared smirks, he decides to do the third option, ‘better than having a copy,’ he thinks to himself. So, Jared activates the transfer, and after a few minutes, the transfer is completed.
Just as Jared hears Jeff coming up the stairs, the 12 year-old detaches his phone from the Laptop and closes the program and shutting down Jeff’s Laptop.
When Jeff enters his room, he finds Jared sitting on his bed, “finally,” the boy says, “what kept you?”
“Mom,” Jeff says with a groan, “you know how she is”.
Jared chuckles, “yeah,” he says.
Jeff sits down on his chair by his desk, he notices that his Laptop is turned off, the teen lets out a sigh of relief, ‘good, I DID turn it off before heading down to supper,’ he thinks to himself, unaware that that is not the case. Jeff then turns to Jared, “so, you wanted to ask me something?”
Jared nods, “yeah,” he says, “we need to create something for arts class. So, I wanted to ask if you might have an idea of what I could do as an art project. I want to do something cool and unique”.
Jeff thinks for a while, “hmm… I honestly don’t know,” he says, “maybe get some modeling clay or some other modeling material and create a model of the town’s zoo, including the animals?”
“Hmmm… or, would it be okay if I’d make a statue of you using modeling clay and alter your appearance,” Jared asks.
“Like what,” Jeff asks.
“Maybe give you a Wolf head and tail,” Jared says, “or make you a centaur, or even an animal, like a Puppy, Tiger, Horse, Dragon or some other animal!”
“Hmmm… that actually sounds interesting,” Jeff says, he then looks at Jared, “so, how will you decide?”
