Sean played with some settings, not really finding anything he wanted to do that second. Maybe ideas for later, but for now he wants something obvious and unexplainable.
He pauses when he opens a tab of... Normal objects. Appliances, foods, toys, car parts. Anything he could think of, it's there. Looks like he can drag them onto the model of his body to replace parts of him.
Selecting an old CRT television, he drags it over his head. Sean tinkers with the settings, letting the screen act as his eyes, the speakers his voice, and the antennae as his ears. He types in the custom settings "Sean has full control over his screen, able to shift the display at will. The display defaults to a simple face that matches Sean's emotions and speech like a normal face would."
Hitting enter, he could feel his head shifting and stretching. His skin hardened to plastic, taking on a dull grey color. His mouth shifted to the bottom and his lips sealed, replaced by a grill to protect his new speakers. His eyes grew to cover most of his face, glassing over and merging together. His new screen flickers to life on a color bar test screen. Two antennae sprout from the top of his head and he begins picking up signals from the few remaining satellite broadcasts.
The test screen switches to a simply stylized pixilated face. Sean winces and brings a hand up to his head. "What a rush!" The voice was definitely still his, but it sounds different with no air passing through his mouth, and hearing it from 'ears' much higher on his head. "This must be what everyone else hears me talk like. Ugh, my head is so heavy! I'm glad I increased my neck and back strength..."
He hears the door unlock, one of his roommates must be home. "I guess now I'll see if the reality shift actually worked."
