"I think we should stay," John said. the rest of the family agreed except Sharon. "are you sure honey? I mean I like that it is free and all. however, I'm not so sure about the *cough* 'additions'" she said.
"mom the lady said if we didn't like it we can always change it to suit us" Derick said. "besides you seemed way more relaxed as Sean" Julie said. this was true she was a glass-half-empty person. always worrying despite nothing going wrong. Sean, however, was like her opposite.
he was able to let loose and have fun. "fine well stay" she said with a sigh. suddenly a large figure was behind them. turning around they saw the Minotaur bellhop. looking at the family he spoke.
"if you are to stay we have one rule. you MUST be in your creature form. it is to ensure no problems come from human guests. that being said you can alter your forms once you unpack." he said his voice making everything he said sound firm.
he pushed the luggage cart to the elevator and waited. "well this will certainly be a trip to remember" John said before clutching his jewel. it changed from red to clear crystal. he then rose on all four feet. "honey I think you can ride me if you'd like" as he said it his cheeks turned a darker shade of red.
"i... mean... uh... ride on my back. no... I mean..." this made them all laugh. John always fumbled his words when he got embarrassed. "It's fine dear. I'm sure Sean won't mind" his wife said. that little laughing fit was all she needed.
she was worried they'd lose what made them themselves. clutching her jewel a similar glow enveloped her. the crystal went from a dark brown to clear just like John did. "hello breasts" derrick said before touching his crystal. the crystal going from green to clear.
Derra squeezed his breasts in joy. "hurry up Julie. Daddy wants to see all this place has to offer. maybe there's a party!" Sean said. the faun jumping on his husband's back.
"On my way," the redhead said. after touching her crystal it went from red to clear. Jules soon caught himself on his forelegs. he followed his family to the elevator. in was deceptive in size.
it fits all of them as well as the bellhop. the elevator buttons showed over a hundred floors. the Minotaur looked like he got a slight headache. "wish she just text me the news" glancing at the family he spoke to them. "you've been quite blessed. you got room 137. those who get it tend to have the best time" he said before pressing a button.
in an instant they were on floor 12. the door was stylized with lucky images. four leaf clovers grew along the archway. the door knocker was a horseshoe. dream catchers hung above the door. the glass showed the cosmos with shooting stars.
the door opened as they stepped through. the main room was big enough to hold a giant. the furniture seemed to adjust to the family's current forms. the kitchen was elegant. a grand piano was situated by the stairs.
the second floor had 3 rooms. one depicted a lion and the other a snake. the final one had a goat and a dragon. the entire place had a greek feel to it. "as you can see the rooms will reflect your personalities".
Jules approached the piano. he found the keys were sized to fit his paws. he proceeded to play the scales. as he did he heard a pan flute. sean pulled it off a hook by the door.
"well ill let you unpack. we have a week of activities on repeat. the itinerary will be by your beds. also there will be a map for you to explore." the Minotaur left.
the bags floated up to their respective rooms. the cart changed into a statue of the 4 of them. "makes you wonder why even have the cart" John said. he sat down and enjoyed the music. "if you don't mind I'm going to check that brochure the guy was talking about" Derra said slithering up the staircase. entering her room she eyed the pamphlet. 'wonder what I can do' she thought.
