Dr. Anna Locker was one of the last few on Project Chimera. Designed to bridge the gap between animal and human head swaps, long since discontinued for a lack of progress. Moving into her personal lab, it was just her, her assistant Harmony, and whatever human/animal lab rats she could find.
It was still slow and cumbersome, but she wasn't giving up. But today would be a breakthrough. Anna busily worked away at her lab, brushing her curly, red hair out of her blue eyes. Her budget slashes meant she couldn't get many test subjects, forcing her to use a handful of rats, a few lizards, 2 cats she picked up as strays, and her own dog, Rose an Australian Shepard. On the human side, she didn't have much. Most people were nervous about experimental swaps like this. But she did get herself 5, not counting herself and Harmony:
- Frank, a broad-shouldered, lumberjack type man. He was dark skinned and worked as a mechanic at a car shop.
- Winter, she was a slender, mid-20's woman. She clearly had some work done, breast implants and the like.
- Julia, the oldest of the three, in her late-50's. She was a heavier black woman, and a mother of four.
- Ethan, a younger man who worked part-time at a rock climbing place.
- Stephanie, the youngest of the group at 16, is your classic blonde cheerleader type.
Anna, was working on her latest idea. A chemical cocktail that, in theory would give animals the same Dullahan abilities as humans. "So, you think we got it this time?" Harmony asked. She was a tiny thing really, blonde pixie cut and big brown eyes. "Oh yeah, I think we are going to make history." Priming her syringe, she picked up one of the lab rats, injecting it with the newest chemicals. At first nothing happened, slowly Anna, picked it up and gave a light tug on its neck.
With a loud "Pop!" it's head came clean off. The mouse frantically squeaks in panic, its body stumbling around blindly. "We did it!" Harmony cried in glee. Wrapping her much taller boss tightly in a hug. "Don't celebrate just yet, we need a cherry on top, may I?" holding the syringe. Her assistant nodded, sitting down as she removed her head. Setting the mouse's head down, it suddenly shot up in size. Meanwhile, her head shrank down until they matched their bodies.
"This is so cool!" Harmony, clearly overjoyed at the new breakthrough and her new tiny white body, ran around on her new legs, playing with her new tail. Hopping onto a desk next to Anna. Watching her old body, as the mouse slowly managed to stand upright, awkwardly walked around. "Careful now, don't let it be too comfortable now." as the rodent, started nibbling at its red blouse, exposing her bra. Anna walked over returning their heads to their correct bodies. "So, what do we do now?"
