Rest did not come so easily for you. The wolf snored loudly, mildly scratching itself as it tried to sleep. You were still shaken by the encounter with the maiden. You turned to see Angel resting just outside the cave. She was naked and bathed in the leaves of natural world. Her glowing essense brighter than the stars above.
What was she exactly? You had never once questioned whether or not she was truthful. You begin to wonder if you maybe had trusted her too quickly. But then you look at the wolf, who saved you. Doubt overcame you again and it was hard to say that you were well rested the next morning.
Angel brought an ensable of fruit to you and Ralph who began to prepare a numerous bunch of sacks to hold them in. Most of them made from the magical cloth.
"Why are we collecting fruits and berries?" Ralph asked.
"We're going to travel underground, into the caves of the Jagged Mountains. We should reach Medora before nightfall. We have to," Angel sighed.
"Why do have to reach it before nightfall?" you asked.
Angel didn't answer but looked up into the sky, you and Ralph did the same. You didn't know what she was looking at until you looked West and saw a ring of clouds. They were dark and forboding and you knew now why Angel was in such a hurry.
"There is little chance that once we arrive in Medora that there will actually be any rain for a long while. We have to get in there, confront Queen Mayella and somehow get her to lift the curse so that we can collect the magical rain," Angel explained.
"How do you know so much about Medora?" Ralph asked.
Angel ingnored him and tighed the last bag of fruit tightly. She then made her way deep into the tunnels of the Jagged Tooth Mountains.
"Shall we? We haven't got all day." she said.
Your a bit curious about how Angel does know all of this but you don't want to offend her. Perhaps now is not the right time to ask her, or perhaps you should ask her now before you fall into another trap.
