When Cecelia was 6 years old, she was locked in a bathroom, and her parents didn't know she was inside. She yelled for help, but she didn't receive any reply. Eventually, a young boy walked by and slid a key under the door, freeing her.
At the age of 12, Cecelia was on a ride at the local fair when she hit her head against the headrest next to hers, causing her to lose an earring. She tried to keep track of where it had fallen, and to her surprise, the same boy who had helped her in the bathroom came up to her after the ride. "Hi, I'm Dan. This earring matches the one in your ear," he said, handing her back the lost earring.
Although Cecelia didn't see Dan often, he seemed to show up at the right time. When she was 15, she missed the bus home from her part-time job and started walking, only for it to start raining. Dan appeared with an umbrella and walked her home. They had an amazing conversation together, and he even validated her whiny opinions about simple things that bothered her, which also seemed to bother him.
Cecelia knew that Dan was special and that he was the one for her. As she went through puberty, she developed into a gorgeous young lady with a petite figure. Many guys started noticing how attractive she looked, but she only wanted what she felt with Dan.
When she was 19, Cecelia found Dan at the park with his dog on Valentine's Day. She mustered up the courage to confess her desire for him, as she feared she might never see him again. "Do you have a girlfriend?" she asked. "No, Sarah is just my dog. We live together, but it's strictly platonic," he joked. "How would you feel about going on a date with me, then?" she asked, trying to look confident and flirtatious.
"Sure!" he replied, delighted. "But I'm going to be honest with you from the start. I like feet! So if you don't like foot massages or attention to your feet, I won't find satisfaction in a relationship."
She was absolutely shocked. "Ok, no problem," she lied. She had the ugliest feet ever. She didn't even like walking around in just socks; they were that ugly.
Cecelia didn't know what to do. She really wanted to impress Dan, but she couldn't just magically make her feet pretty... or could she? So, she went deep into the woods to find the hermit's hut, where she knew a witch might live.
"I have ugly feet that only magic can fix!" called Cecelia, being very upfront when she knocked on the witch's door.
The witch opened the mail flap of the door and peered through it with her beady eyes. "The problem is the way you see your feet," she said, sliding out her hypnotic medallion. "This will fix all your foot insecurities."
"But I want pretty feet that my boyfriend will like too!" called Cecelia, looking at the metallic necklace.
"This will help with that too! Now get out of here while I'm in a good mood, before I give you hooves instead. I don't like to be bothered by muggles," the witch warned before closing the door.
