"Dare." Jen said triumphantly.
Kyle's face strained, but he replied to her in an even monotone.
"I dare you to be the dog girl you want to be. You will be able to act like a dog as much as you like and whenever you like. No one will think there is anything wrong with this. You can be naked in public and even go to the bathroom like a dog would. You will still be considered human, but everyone will accept that you like pretending to be a dog. Everyone will know and remember that you weren't able to do this before going to obedience school. You can visit the Chesterton Heights Obedience Training School whenever you like and can come and go as you please. No matter how long you act like a dog you will be able to go back to acting like a human with no negative effects and no matter how long you act like a human you can go back to acting like a dog with no negative effects. No one can change any of this without your permission."
He finished speaking and his hand let go of the paper. As it fluttered to the ground he pulled back his fist, intent on punching Jen right in the nose, but he never had a chance. With a popping sound he vanished and in his place was a small, terrier-ish dog. It looked up at her in surprise. Jen bent down and grabbed the dog by the scruff of the neck and lifted it easily. It didn't resist. She flipped it onto its back and moved its tail out of the way. She grinned at what she saw.
"Who's the bitch now?" she giggled.
She placed the dog back on the floor.
"I should introduce you to Rex one of these days. Before we take him to get fixed."
The little dog quivered.
"Goodbye Kyle, or should it be Kylie now?"
Jen turned on her heel and left the room. Getting out of the house was a bit more difficult than getting in, but she managed it in the end. She made her way back to her own home and went up to her room. Her pads were waiting for her. She stripped off her clothes and pulled them on, sighing with contentment. Kyle's curse had completely backfired. Jen was happier now than she had ever been in her life. She crawled out of her room. Maybe mom would be willing to take her for a walk around the neighborhood.
