In the years following The Great Change, the concept of celebrating one's birthday had come under some reevaluation.
Since every adult New Woman had regressed to around eighteen years of age that fateful day, and virtually every Born Woman had taken Greta's offer to deage the following day(Except for a few random holdouts), that meant that over 99% of the Earth's population was still physically well under thirty.
While this meant that Earth was awash in a sea of gorgeous young women, mentally, everyone was all over the place.
It was hard to tell sometimes who genuinely was a young woman and who had been a ninety year old grandfather seven years ago.
Many women had begun celebrating two birthdays, the first being their natal birth, and the second one the anniversary of The Great Change, the day of their "rebirth".
This led to women like Millie Quesada, who physically was no older than her mid twenties, having a very confusing midlife crisis.
You see, back when she was Milton Aaronsohn, today would have been his fortieth birthday.
Did that mean that *Millie* was forty today, or was she only twenty five now? Or was her birthday in August, and she was actually seven because of The Great Change?
Was she officially an old lady or wasn't she?
She looked at herself nervously in the bathroom mirror for any signs of aging.
There weren't any lines or wrinkles on her face. No grey hairs. Her skin looked flawless. Her boobs were still big and perky. She looked great in the outfit she was wearing. She was curvy but wasn't fat.
Millie saw nothing wrong with her, so ostensibly satisfied with her looks, she glided downstairs, where Juliana, her wife, and Paloma, her daughter, were waiting for her.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" they both screamed, wearing party hats on top of their heads.
"Aww, thanks guys" Millie said with false modesty in her voice.
As the Quesada women gathered around Millie, the three eating eating birthday cake, and watching the blonde open up her lovely present from her daughter, Juliana opened up with another surprise.
"I don't need anything else. You two are my presents" Millie said.
"Nonsense" said Juliana. "I'm taking you on a little day trip to..."
She whispered in Millie's ear.
Millie's eyes, which were already wide and expressive, started to bug out of their sockets.
"Are you serious?" Millie asked, stunned.
Juliana nodded happily.
"Which means that Paloma is going to have to stay over with Jo and her moms for the weekend."
Paloma looked sad.
"Can't I come too?".
"Oh honey, this wouldn't interest you. It's a grown up place for Mommy and Mom. But I promise next weekend, we'll both take you out to make up for it! Is that OK?".
Paloma nodded.
At least she'd get to play with Jo.
