"Tell me, where is your last companion?" Silver demanded.
The two remaining men glanced at each other. "Um, what companion?" William asked, trying to feign ignorance. "It's just us."
Narrowing her eyes, Silver sent another burst of magic. William cried out as he too shrank out of his clothes before his now tiny form feminized. Once he became a lovely girl with a gorgeous figure and long, purple hair, wings sprouted from her back, and a shimmering dress matching her hair color appeared on her. Her panic vanished as she instantly fell unconscious with a sigh.
Turning to the last remaining man, Silver growled, "Did you think I didn't overhear you talking about a Tania earlier? Now, tell me where she is."
Arthur gulped. "She's probably setting a spell trap on the road leading into this village. Since she's a mage, she'd want to avoid direct combat."
Silver stared at him for a while but detected no deception. "Good. Now, pick up your two friends and take them to where you are holding the others."
The light around the intruders faded, but Silver's horn still glowed menacingly. Quickly, Arthur snatched up the two fairies that had been his companions and led the way back to a large wagon. The back of the wagon had been fitted with numerous secure shelves holding rows upon rows of bottles, each holding a trapped fairy from the village.
At Silver's prompting, Arthur released all the prisoners and instead placed his sleeping friends into two bottles, sealing them inside.
"Okay, I did what you wanted," Arthur said. "Please, let me go."
Silver thinks about it.
