While Alexandra kept thinking of a plan, some toddlers and babies began to be brought to the playroom. Soon, the small fenced area was completely filled. Alexandra couldn't concentrate with all the noise those children were making. There were some children who even wanted to play with Alexandra but she always refused.
While Alexandra continued trying to ignore the rest of the children, she felt someone touch her shoulder. When she turned around, she saw that it was a 2-year-old toddler girl. She was wearing a white T-shirt, small brown socks and brown overalls with a very obvious diaper bulge around her waist. Not to mention that like Alexandra, she had a pacifier and her own stuffed animal.
"My name is Everly. Do you want to play with me?", the toddler girl asked Alexandra.
Alexandra was also thinking of rejecting this girl, until Everly said something to her that left her speechless.
"You're not a toddler, are you?", Everly asked Alexandra.
How does that girl know that she is not a real toddler? Did someone tell her? Or could it be that this girl is also an adult like her? She needed more answers.
"How do you know?" Alexandra asked Everly.
