"Its okay mommy, everything's gonna be fine. You don't have to worry and you certainly don't have to be embarrassed" Cassie told her mother as she walked over.
Finding her voice her mom replied, "But sweetie you don't understand. Mommy is an adult, I'm not supposed to be a baby. I CAN'T be a baby, I've got to cook and clean and take of the house and and..." she started to ramble on in a panic before her daughter put a finger to her lips, effectively shushing her.
"Relax, I can take of everything" Cassie assured her mother.
Hearing her baby girl speak to her with such a grown up tone of voice and without her lisp while acting so calm and collected, it made her forget her current troubles and question her daughter's sudden maturity. Just a few hours ago she had been changing Cassie's diapers and now her two year old daughter was comforting her and taking charge. Then going back to her original problem of her unexpected spontaneous regression back to toddlerhood.
Just what the hell was going on here?
"Cassie, why are you talking like an adult?" she asked scared something was very wrong.
Cassie giggle, "That's because I am one, or rather a teenager. But not in body, only in my head."
"I don't understand" her mom shook her head in confusion.
Realizing explaining things to her mother was going to be harder than she thought Cassie scratched her head with a sigh, "Man I wish there was an easier way to do this."
Her inate ring power activated granting her wish as the solution to her problem appeared in her mind. It was so simple, all she had to do was wish her mother knew the truth.
"I wish my mom knew about the ring and what I did with it" Cassie said.
In the span of a few second knowledge and memories flooded her baby mother's mind. Instantly she knew everything, how her daughter found the ring on her way home from school, discovered it could actually grant wishes, made a few diaper related ones that turned her from teenager to toddler, and that somehow the ring's power transferred to her so she could now make wishes without it. And all this because her daughter wanted to wear diapers again and be treated like a baby, only to learn she liked being a baby for real.
"So do you remember everything now mommy?" Cassie asked after a few moments.
Her mother nodded after recovering from the sudden head rush, "I do. Wow, I can't believe my fourteen year old daughter had a thing for diapers and I never knew."
"I didn't want you to think I was weird. You're not mad are you?"
"Of course not. If it makes you happy then I'm all for it" her mom said with a smile.
"Even if I told you I want to stay this age and not grow up?" Cassie proposed.
"Well that would have been a problem if you didn't have magical wishing powers. But you do so I guess you can just wish for whatever you. I always wanted you to be able to take care of yourself and now you can...I just never thought it would be with magic or that magic was real" her mother chuckled in disbelief.
Cassie grinned at her mom's being so cool with everything.
"Now let's talk about you turning me into a toddler without my permission" she began.
Cassie gulped, thinking she was about to be in big trouble.
Seeing her baby girl's fearful face her mother quickly replied, "Its alright I'm not mad and you're not in trouble. Your wish told me why you did it, that you wanted a playmate but more importantly you wanted to give me a break from my stressful adulthood. That was so sweet of you Cassie, I'm so lucky to have a kind and thoughtful daughter like you."
Her mother then toddled over and embraced her in a hug that Cassie happily returned.
"So does this mean you'll stay a baby with me" she asked hopefully after they broke apart.
Her regressed mother considered it seriously for a moment then answered, "Hmm I think stay one for about..."
