Alex is on a date with Tori. Although Alex had a long and deep romantic history with Rachel (or so he thinks), that is quickly forgotten about as he's physically dragged along by his female counterpart. After all, the most important thing happening in any cartoon is what's happening in the scene, and Rachel is so last chapter. Besides, Tori has an aura about her that command attention, and Alex was happy to follow.
"So, my luscious lupine, where are you taking me to eat?" Alex asks. "Oh ho, my astounding alpha, we've already arrived!" Alex looks around and sees that they've reached the outskirts of town, close to the forest. "Pizza, fish, spaghetti? These are all human foods! If we want something fitting for the apex predators that we are, we need something fresh! We need something that'll make us feel alive! So that's why tonight's meal is ..." There is an audible drum roll, "man! They say it's the most dangerous game!" At this Alex remembers his meal with Tiffany. At the time eating Tiffany just felt like the fastest and easiest way to solve a problem, but think back on it, she was one of the best meals he's ever tasted. Alex and Tori trek off into the forest, their new hunter grounds.
As they continue their evening stroll, they catch the scent of something delicious. They soon spot a group of joggers on a nature trail, three of them panting and sweating in the heat. Alex's stomach growls hungrily, and Tori's eyes light up with anticipation. "Here's our first course, my love. Follow my lead, lest we scare them off. Humans are known to be skittish." With that, she and Alex emerge from the brush, striding gingerly up to the joggers, "Hello there, little ones," Tori says sweetly. "What brings you out on such a lovely day?"
The joggers look at each other nervously, sensing danger. They look like a pair of buff werewolves, but that's silly and must be some kind of costume or something. "Um, jogging, I guess... what are you two doing here?" one of the joggers asks.
"Oh, just out for a stroll," Alex replies casually, his eyes fixed on the juicy human snacks in front of him.
Tori nods in agreement. "Yes, we just love taking in the sights and smells of the forest. And speaking of smells..." She sniffs the air dramatically, getting her big black nose right in the face of one of the joggers. "I can't help but notice how delicious you all smell. Mind if we take a closer look?"
"... What?" Before the joggers can react, Alex and Tori lunge forward with lightning speed. They grab two of the joggers each and gulp them down whole, without even bothering to chew. "OMG!" The remaining jogger scrambles in a panic and tries to run away, but Tori chases after her and tosses her up into the air with a flick of her snout. The jogger flies up for but a moment before she starts falling back down to the ground where a wide open maw is there to catch her. Tori swallows her down too in a single quick gulp, a bulge traveling down Tori's throat and settling in her expanded tummy with the sound of a timpani drum. Thus, within a mater of seconds, the pair of wolves are alone again.
"Mmm, that hit the spot," Alex says contentedly, patting his bulging belly. "Thanks for the lovely dinner, Tori." Tori grins, her own belly distended from the large meal. "Anytime, Alex. It's always more fun to hunt with a partner, don't you think?"
