Mermaid Pool company was a small company which over the course of a couple of years spread across the entire nation.
On the outside they ran a run of a mill pool company which made a name for themselves for offering excellent prices for their pools and hot tubes as well as their home maintenance services. They offer everything from above ground pools to custom design in ground pools and a wide range of hot tubes.
In time almost half of the new pools getting bought/put in across the nation came from Mermaid Pool Company.
They were on the cover of business magazines as a family-owned business which made it big.
The family-owned business had refused to be bought out multiple times. They did this because they had a secret.
Their secret is that in every pool and hot tube they install they place their company logo. That wasn’t a surprise, but the secret was that their logo was an ancient magical symbol which could open a bridge between this world and the world of mermaids and merman.
The plan was simple, when the time was right the doorway could be open and a mermaid or merman could travel through and appear in the pool/hot tube of the surprised owner. Once then they would drag the human or humans back to their world and there the next phase of the plan would begin.
While their world was lush with beautiful coral reefs which put the great barrier reef to shame, idealized sand covered islands which make Hawaii look horrible by comparison and it was a perfect place to live for a mermaid or merman. The problem was that there were such few mermaids and merman to populate this world, so the plan was to take the humans from Earth and transform them into new members of the mer race.
Mermaids and Merman came in all form, all different skin color, tail color and tail type be it the "classic" tail or others like Shark tails, Ells, Octopus and others. When a human is transformed anything can happen, not just the type of mermaid/merman they could become but the human race, gender, age could all change as well during the process.
The time had come and the first portal is about to open and the first mermaid/merman raid to grab humans was about to begin.
