"Is there anything else?" Jacob asked as Charlene put the last of the groceries into the cart.
"No, that should be about it, thank you," Charlene said as she headed to the front of the store. "Thank you for all of your help. We're still kind of moving into town, ,so I've got a lot that I need to get still. But it feels like we're really starting to settle in."
"Well, that's good," Jacob said as she starts to pay for the groceries. "Oh, wait, are you the family that moved in on James Street?"
"Yeah, how did you know?"
"I live up the street from you, I helped you all move in the other day remember?" Jacob asked. "I thought you looked familiar somehow."
"Huh... I guess I forgot, it's been kind of a wild week," Charlene admitted sheepishly. "Thank you for your help, again."
"Anything for a new neighbor," Jacob said with a smile. "Hey, I'm going to be throwing a neighborhood party of sorts this weekend, if you and your daughters want to come."
"I'll talk to them," Charlene replied as they took the groceries out to the car and put them away. "I'll see you around?"
"See you around," Jacob said with a nod.
Charlene gets into the car and starts it up again. That hadn't been too bad, though strangely she still had a weird feeling as if she knew him somehow. Maybe it just was because he had been to her house, or maybe it was just her imagination. She shook her head and pulled out, she still had a few more errands to run.
