"Ben, are you awake yet?" Matthew yelled across the house, trying to find his younger brother.
The week has passed, which meant another transformation was about to occur. "Come on bud, I know you hate it, but it's gonna happen one way or another". Matthew sighed, the curse has been hard on the both of them.
But they at least managed to find some help.
The neighbours farm was owned by a man named Rupert.
Rupert once came across young benjamin while in the middle of a transformation, however instead of turning tails in fear or bullying the young boy, he immediately offered to help the boys in anyway he could, provide shelter, food and care if needed.
Rupert's son Liam, is about the same age as Benjamin and the boys quickly became best friends. Benjamin sometimes remarked that Liam seemed jealous of his transformations, almost as if he wanted to be cursed.
"I'm here, don't worry I know!" Ben said, as he raced down the stairs.
"You need to relax, Matt you're stressing me out! You heard Lata's prediction! I still have some time before the transformation starts!" the young boy added.
In an effort to help his little brother, Matthew tried to track down the source of the curse that affected Benjamin. In his search he came across a witch. At first Matthew was scared, what if she did this?
The witch however, immediately packed her things and joined the group, trying to find a cure for the young boy, and predicting the transformations that would occur.
"Ben, I know the predictions, she says it would happen around noon, it's now 11:54! So come on, let's go" Matthew said, as he pushed his little brother outside the house.
"Hi Ben! How are you doing!", a young boy quickly jumped the fence and ran towards Benjamin. It was Liam, who always wanted to be sure to be there as the transformations occured. The two boys looked very similar. they both had brown hair and brown eyes, only Liam was a bit taller then Benjamin.
"I'm doing okay, all things considered, just not looking forward to it happening" Ben said, there was a hint of sadness in his voice.
"And it feels like we don't have to wait for long, I can feel something happening!"
