Hunted

added by Ninja_Badger A year ago A O

As Alex was trying to make up his mind there was a rustling in the bushes off to his left. Turning, he saw a pair of icy blue eyes in a lupine face watching him from between the branches. Slowly Alex began to back away, acting as if he hadn't seen the wolf. He didn't know if that would help, but something told him if he ran the wolf would give chase.

Looking back over his shoulder as he headed off in the direction of the town indicated by the signs, he could no longer see the wolf's face among the foliage. He breathed a sigh of relief and turned around, just to find the large black furred beast standing on the trail in front of him. It was the top wolf from the pair he had watched, it almost seemed like the wolf was smiling as he and Alex stared at each other.

Alex hadn't never realized how big wolves were. Even watching the pair he had been at a distance, but standing here feet from the lupine he was simply taken aback by the size of it. Bigger than any dog Alex had ever seen, it slowly padded towards him as Alex took a few steps back, keeping the distance between them the same, it almost seemed like it was playing with him, even it's tail was swaying from side to side. There was no menace in the stance, despite the fact it had placed itself right in Alex's path.

He turned and ran, bare feet crunching the dried leaves strewn across the forest path. He could hear more crunching behind him as the wolf gave chase. It should have caught him in an instant, but long second passed with Alex running and the sound of pursuit pounding in his ears. He was regretting every stopping to watch those wolves.

Suddenly, he realized he could no longer hear the wolf behind him and came to a stop, his underworked muscles burning from his sudden sprint, pain shooting through the soles of his unshod feet. He dared to slow to look behind him, then came to a stop as he noticed nothing was on the trail behind him. Gasping for air, he doubled over and tried to catch his breath. He couldn't have escaped, could he? It must have just been playing with him.

Out of nowhere, he felt a mass of muscle and fur tackling him from behind. Alex went down, pinned under the weight of the large wolf, hot breath blasting against the back of his neck, a soft growl resonating in his ears. He squirmed slightly and the wolf shoved down on him once more. It didn't feel like paws on his shoulders, but large claw tipped hands, claws that were digging into his flesh. More concerning was the hard, hot length of shaft resting between his cheeks.

Alex went very still as he felt the wolf bury his nose into his hair, inhaling with a few snuffling noises. Despite the heat of the animal on top of him, Alex's blood ran cold as he heard growling words come from it. "Good smell. Strong smell." He felt a hot tongue lap at the back of his neck. "Makes me hard."

He knew the sound that escaped him sounded a bit pathetic, he had to be imagining the wolf talking though. It couldn't really be.. "Please, just let me go." He begged, squirming a bit more under the wolf's powerful body.

"Yes. Let you go for now." The wolf growled and Alex breathed a sigh of relief, until he felt the teeth suddenly sinking into the flesh between his neck and shoulder. Heat flooded his body, heat and pain that made him suddenly shout out. "Shhh.. it will pass." The wolf growled softly as he released his bite, then lapped at the wound. The world faded in and out as he felt the wolf getting off of him. There was no more strength in him to run though, the wolf reaching down and grabbing him about the waist. The last thing he remembered before blacking out was being tossed over a broad, furred shoulder.

Alex didn't know how much time passed before he woke up again, but he did as he was being put on the ground, sitting up with his back against a tree. The wolf crouched down in front of him, meeting his gaze. He could hear sounds off in the distance, and turning his head he could see a bustling town through the trees. A strong clawed hand turned his face back to the wolf. "Rest. We'll meet again." And the wolf leaned forward, lapping his tongue along Alex's cheek.

Fading in and out, he saw the wolf disappearing into the woods. He laid there for he didn't know how long, but he thought he could feel the sunlight striking different part of him as the shadows shifted as hours passed. His whole body still burned, though the pain had subsided to a dull ache. Eventually he heard a voice calling out. "Hey! I think someone is over there! Go get help!" Then Alex blacked out once more.
