As the months passed completely unbeknownst to Janessa the belief of the villagers, their continued practice of tribute and Janessa’s performance as a Nature spirit has caused the amulet to react turning her into an actual Nymph. Her pale skin that had barely seen any sun tanned into a light bronze color as if living a life outdoors, the veins in her body becoming visible as the iron rich blood turned into emerald chlorophyll entwining vine like patterns onto her body. Her softer unscarred feet harden and merge over the months until she was standing on a pair of moss covered hooves, her gentle fingers lengthening into small claws her chloroform blood drenching her digits in green pigment and her once rounded ears growing longer and sharper until she held long pointed ears. Her long refined red hair that once signified her royal position grew into a curly wild mane reaching well passed her hips yet it never looked tangled or messy, also small flowering branches grew throughout the strains of hair highlighting its wild nature. Her already impressive physical assets became more beautiful as the spiritual energies caused her bust to enhance in size, her hips widening and her waist to shrink making her hourglass figure even more extravagant. Her face also changed as the seasons passed her nose moved closer to her face and blacken into a more deer like shape, her teeth formed a set of elongated sharp canines and her pale gray eyes brighten into full golden amber orbs actually increasing in size granting her big doe like eyes. But her biggest change was when a grand pair of antlers sprouted from her scalp sporting a wood texture with growing leaves, flowers, berries and nuts. Her physical form wasn’t the only thing to change as her mind morphed into a more alien intelligence, at first it was pronouns after a week Janessa didn’t mean referring to herself in the feminine and after a month she couldn’t see herself as anything but female, second the name she chose under distress started overriding her memory of her old name until all she could remember was that she is Janessa now the Verdant Matron, then as the days turn to weeks and the weeks into months her memories and mannerisms change, her sorted history as an arrogant lustful prince vanishing from her mind replaced with memories of the lands surrounding her cavernous home as with most nature spirits, she found a growing desire to not wear clothes even after the villagers grant plenty as tribute instead allowing moss, lichen and vines to grow across her body in some semblance of clothing although her nude form was still very visible. By the end of the sixth month instead of a prideful haughty prince a caring nurturing Nymph stood. Janessa’s amulet having used all its power to turn her into an immortal spirit lost all it power becoming another trinket of Janessa’s cave all forgotten by its new inhabitant. In the days that passed after her completed transformation Janessa would truly perform her duty as a Nymph venturing from her grotto to greet the people who live around her home blessing their farmlands for bountiful harvests, nurturing babes from her breast to ensure good health and healing the sick and injured with nature magic. As for the villagers all they thought was that their tribute had empowered the Janessa enough for her to reveal her true form and capable of doing the miracles they asked. Soon after Janessa reduced her need for tribute as a Nymph the land itself sustained her and did not require food or shelter but would sometime indulge in some small treats or sleep with strong men when the mood suit her, while also having plenty of other trinkets and baubles to entertain her at her cave.
