Jack was surprised to hear from Tim again so soon. They had just talked a few days ago about Tim's sudden change of heart, and Jack was still trying to process everything. But when Tim asked if they could meet up, Jack agreed, curious about what Tim wanted to say.

I don't just want to be friends anymore."

Over the next few weeks, Jack played along with Tim's newfound affection, but he couldn't shake off his unease with Tim's sudden change in behavior. They went on dates, watched movies together, and discussed their aspirations. Jack couldn't help but notice how different Tim was now that he was no longer attempting to undermine him. He was thoughtful, attentive, and excessively supportive. But as much as Jack enjoyed spending time with Tim, he couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. He knew that Tim's feelings for him were tied to the edit function of the Reality app, and he wasn't sure if they would last once he stopped using it.
One day, while taking a stroll in the park, Jack felt the need to explain to Tim what the Reality App was all about. "Tim, I'm grateful for everything you've done to support me, but I have to ask: do you know what the Reality app is?" Jack said, his eyes fixed on Tim's. Tim shook his head no, but Jack could tell that Tim knew something was up. "It's an app that can alter reality with a single word. I used it to reveal some stuff, including about you. I edited a sentence to change the word 'sabotage' to 'support,' and that's why you started acting differently towards me. But what if it wasn't for the app? What if it's all because of the Reality app, and not because of true love?"
Tim looked down at his feet, his face crestfallen. "I don't know, Jack," he said softly. "All I know is that I care about you, and I don't want to lose you. Please don't push me away."
Jack felt a pang of guilt as he saw the hurt in Tim's eyes. He knew that Tim was telling the truth, but he couldn't shake his doubts. As they continued to walk, he wondered if there was a way to truly know if Tim's feelings were genuine, or if they were just a product of the Reality app.
