Jack was beyond freaked out. Tammy's transformation had been startling, to say the least. It was like she had become a different person altogether, all in the name of supporting him. He knew that it was his fault for changing the sentence in the first place. He had never intended for things to spiral out of control like this. He had thought that changing "sabotage" to "support" would be a simple fix, but it had unleashed a whole chain of events that he never could have predicted.
Now, as Tammy clung to him with an almost desperate intensity, Jack couldn't help but feel suffocated. He needed space to think, to figure out how to undo the damage he had caused.
"Tammy, we need to talk," he said gently, trying to extricate himself from her grasp. "This isn't...this isn't how things are supposed to be."
Tammy looked up at him with big, doe-like eyes. "What do you mean? Don't you like me? Don't you want me to support you?"
Jack sighed. He did appreciate Tammy's support, but this wasn't what he had wanted. He had wanted a friend, not a lover. And he certainly didn't want someone who was so obsessed with him that they were willing to change their entire identity to suit his desires.
"I do appreciate everything you've done for me," he said carefully. "But this isn't healthy. You can't just change who you are to fit someone else's ideal. You need to be your own person."
Tammy looked like she was about to argue, but then something changed in her expression. Tammy's expression shifted as if she had come to a decision. "I understand," she said softly. "That's why I got rid of the app. I don't need it anymore because I know what you want, and I'll always support you."
Jack felt his heart pounding in his chest as he struggled to make sense of Tammy's words. He reached for his phone to access the app, but it was nowhere to be found. His efforts to locate it on the deep web were fruitless, and he began to feel a sense of despair. "So this is how it's going to be from now on? There's no going back?" Jack said, defeated.
"It's okay, my dear. Don't be so sad. I love you, and I'll always be here for you. We'll be together for the rest of our lives," Tammy replied reassuringly.
It took time, but Jack found himself growing accustomed to Tammy's constant support and attention. He knew deep down that it was all a result of his initial change on the Reality app, but at this point, he didn't know what else to do. Also, Jack came to learn that Tammy could be very persuasive.
As time passed, Tammy's efforts paid off. Jack became successful in his chosen field, and he had Tammy to thank for it all. She was always there to provide him with encouragement, to offer advice and support whenever he needed it. Eventually, Jack realized that he had fallen in love with Tammy. He had never expected it to happen, but there was something about her unwavering commitment to him that he found irresistible. Over the years, their relationship grew stronger, and they eventually got married and started a family. Tammy was the perfect partner, always there to support Jack in everything he did, from his career to their children.
"I don't know what I would do without you," Jack said to Tammy one night as they sat on the couch, watching their kids play.
"You don't have to worry about that," Tammy replied, placing a hand on Jack's knee. "I'll always be here for you, no matter what."
Jack smiled and leaned in to kiss her, grateful for the unexpected turn of events that had led him to Tammy. He knew that he owed everything to her and the Reality app that had brought them together.
