While Nikola was being arrested her wife was watching the latest 'Ruby' integrate with her sisters at the mansion. On arrival Gareth had found herself being greeted by not one but five Ruby's, all identical to each other - and to Gareth. She finally believed what the FBI woman had been telling her in the car. In a strange way, knowing she was not alone in her situation made Gareth feel a lot more comfortable.
The FBI woman, was asking Gareth a lot of questions but Gareth was unable to answer them very well. She had not seen any medallions. She did not know why she had changed and yes she did carry a towel to the storage room. Agent Dwyer quickly dismissed this girl as not having any useful knowledge.
Meanwhile Agent Bradbury had completed interviewing the adults. Only the vice principal Mrs Brown had anything useful to say. Her interview lasted 30 minutes as she described the going's on of the previous evening. She agreed with the woman's assumption that the last known person to change was Gareth. It seemed likely that the medallion had been in the storage room. This made it all the more important to track down Juan Rosaro, the cleaner. Agent Dexter had gone back to Rosaro's house first thing in the morning to find the cleaner had never returned. Rosaro's house and car had been searched thoroughly but there was no sign of the medallion. Amelia Bradbury hoped that Rosaro had not had a mishap with the medallion that had resulted in him being changed into an animal.
She let the vice principal return to the school. The woman had seemed to think that without her or the principal - now turned into one of the teenage girls - the school would not function properly. She had Kurt drive the woman back to the campus and began to call the girls in one at a time to hear their stories. As the girl Gareth was just settling in she decided to interview 'Jake' first as she had been the first known person to contact the medallion.
