You race back to your room and immediately throw on your old gym shoes without any socks, who has time to waste on socks when there are experiments to run! This old ratty too small pair of shoes is going to be your emergency reversion save point, 'how long until they are considered worn anyway?' Technically he could 'wear' them on his hands for two seconds and they would be 'worn', right?
"Ugh. C'mon man, fuck with magic safely..." you chided yourself. Excitement growing exponentially by the second... "Okay test the wearing shoes on hands safely... But!...'
What if I stop mid or 3/4th transformation? What if I just wear the socks for 3 days and don't use them to transform? What if I transform into different things one after another all day long, is there a battery, do they run out? Does the duration of being transformed have an effect on reversion time? If I keep the socks on after the physical transformation is complete do I continue transforming mentally? The transformation only seemed to start after a minute, what if I take the shoes off after 45 seconds, then later put them on for another 45 seconds, will the transformation resume, start over, or is something else happening in those 45 seconds I just can't see? What if I have two different peoples shoes on each foot, will it pick one or will I become some mixture of the two? What determines the speed of transformation? If I were already thirty would I become dad faster? If I transform back and forth more often?
If I put the dogs rain booties on my big toe, then make the dog wear the socks and put the rain booties on it, will they become my clone? Can I make humans... or animals... or real-life cat girls?!?!?!?
Visions of a multi billion dollar transformation company came into focus... simply merge two shoes to become a unique third person, walk around in the shoes for 5 minutes, then transform back, selling the shoes and 5 minutes with the socks... granting a new life to someone.
Panting, nearly delirious with excitement over your current power and future money, you decided your first experiment would be...
