Ty turned, instinctively drawing the arrow and fitting it to her bow. Her first shot skewered the closest narrow hound right between the eyes, as it fell off the bridge and fell towards the dark water below. As the hound got closer, a tentacle longer than she was tall, snaked out of the water, and captured the hound, before pulling it below the water. Ty had already loosed two more arrows, but distracted by the beast below, only one of her arrows finds it's mark, and another hound falls into the water, as the third and fourth hound reach the side of the cavern. She turned to run, as a spear of shadow is flung towards her from the shadow hound's mouth. She dodges to the side, and the shadow hits the wall with a strange, slapping sound, before sliding down the wall to join with the shadows at the base of it. Without thinking, with instincts based on knowledge she wasn't sure she had known as Ty, she drew another arrow and muttered an incantation before firing an arrow glowing with fire into the area where the shadow projectile had hit. A howl of pain and anguish came from the shadows as the still forming shadow hound was ripped apart by the light of the fire. Ty...no, if she was going to get through this, she had to start thinking of herself as her character. As Sorhafe.
Sorhafe fired more flaming arrows, creating a barrier of light that she hoped the hounds could not cross, but kept moving, not waiting to see if it had worked. She reached an entrance to another cave, and quickly threw herself through, before creating a line of oil across the entrance. Setting it alight, she retreated into the next cave, hoping the shadow hounds would be unable to follow.
