"I saw a cave near the beach when we arrived. What do you think if we explore it?" Alex told his sister while she changed her clothes into something more comfortable for the tropical weather. She nodded cause she didn't want to swim for now, so hanging out sounds fine to her. After walking for a while they meet the cave's entrance.
"Wow! It shine like it's made of diamonds!" Sophie said while she watched the glowing rock walls inside the cave. Then she started to take pictures for her Instagram for a very long time. Alex knew that when his sister started to do that, she would be doing it for hours, so he decided to explore the cave more in depth. He had a flashlight but he found out he didn't need it.
"This cave is awesome. I wonder why the hotel hasn't turned it into an attraction. I would pay for a tour in this place." Alex told to himself while he moved deeper and deeper into the cave until he can't see his sister anymore. After walking for a while, he found a big round place where the rock shinning walls looked almost like mirrors. That scene was the most amazing thing he had seen in his life.
He approached to one of those mirror-like walls and saw his reflection almost perfectly, but he noticed that something wasn't right. Instead of his usual brown hair, in the mirror it was black. His skin tone had a similar change, he was very pale but his reflection had a golden brown tan. In fact, it seemed like he was from a different ethnic, like indian or latin.
But that doesn't happen in just one mirror surface, each time he looked into one, his reflection was different. He looked like an asian, afroamerican, taller, shorter, etc. He even found some were he looked like a girl, an anthro dog or a grown man. He knew that wasn't just a distorted reflection, these mirrors had something magical in them.
Guided by the curiosity he tried to touch one of his reflection and got shocked when he realized it's surface was liquid instead of solid. He was a little bit afraid but he kept touching it, until his whole hands were inside. The feeling was completely unique and he can't describe it with words. He needed to tell Sophie about this.
However, when he tried to take his hands off it, he realized he can't, he was stuck. He desperately tried to get free but he was getting the opposite effect as he felt he was being pulled inside more and more until his whole body except for his head was in there. When he knew it was inevitable to come in. He took a deep breath and went fully in.
