While Nat and Rei were babysitting, Connor and the rest of his friends had gone back to the Moreland home to gather some gear before they headed out searching for Chenoa's family in the woods. Connor was gathering any necessary equipment that they might need while going in the woods, he was also showing them to Miles to teach him on weaponry.
Chenoa was watching them while also admiring Miles, and casually waving to him whenever he looked over at her. Chenoa liked Miles, but had a feeling he wasn't being completely truthful to her about what happened with Ezekiel Kane.
"Uh...Miranda, wasn't it? Can I ask you about your brother?" Chenoa asked as Miranda took the Navajo girl aside to talk.
"Miranda, I believe that you all faced Kane, but I don't completely believe that your brother defeated Kane. Can you tell me what happened?" Chenoa asked rubbing her hands.
"Well, what Miles told you was true to a degree, he did protect the kids that our friends, Nat and Rei, are babysitting, and yes he did hit him with his own guitar. But defeating him, was more of a group effort that anything else." Miranda admitted.
"Okay, I could sense he was being genuine, just not entirely truthful." Chenoa said looking over at him again with a little smile.
"Boys will do that sometimes Chenoa, but maybe not my Connor. He's truthful, brave, and he came to my rescue, like the muscular, handsome, gorgeous man he is...." Spark said swooning.
"Is she being truthful?" Chenoa asked chuckling a little.
"When it's about her boyfriend? Always." Miranda stated.
"Happens, when you're in love." Amara said giving Miranda a quick kiss on the lips.
As they were gathering up their gear, there was a knock on the Moreland front door. Nina answered it to see her brother in-law, Rick, and her sister in-law, Julia Moreland-Harris carrying a baby girl with her.
"Oh my god, Julia you got a baby girl!" Spark happily exclaimed zipping over to Julia and Rick.
"Yep, Rick here is now a proud father. He's just gonna have to learn from me how to raise a girl." Julia chuckled.
"Well maybe I can give my brother a few pointers from time to time. When Charlotte gets a little older that is. What is your gal's name anyway." Jacob asked his brother and sister in-law.
"Well, Julia won for the first name. She wanted a name similar to her deceased father, so we chose Tammy." Rick explained.
"Then I thought we should borrow from your little family, so her full name is Tammy Carmen Moreland-Harris." Julia said holding up, so everyone could see. Julia then noticed Chenoa amongst the group.
"Sorry, we didn't realize you had...unique company already." Julia said seeing Chenoa's deer legs.
"Connor and his friends are helping her find her missing parents. It's not as complicated as that ghost matter was." Jacob said wiping his brow.
"You had ghosts here?" Rick asked.
"Why don't you three stay for a while and we'll tell you all about it." Nina said as she directed her to put bay Tammy down near Chase and Charlotte.
"Okay, if you guys are ready, we'll head out on the search, we should also buddy up as we go, so...." Connor instructed.
"You and me! You and me are buddies." Spark said as she wrapped her arm around Connor's arm.
"Cifras." Miles and Miranda said rolling their eyes.
Miles paired with Chenoa while Miranda and Amara paired up and they went off while the Moreland and Moreland-Harris family talked.
